  • The title is very confusing... it's not about automating the creating object but...

    Okay, here we go... I have a text object. The position is 10, 383 and I like it there. I want to the users to open my app, there's gonna be a bla bla and bla bla and then a new text object automatically created at 10, 383 positions and the old text object 10, 383 positions, go down a bit... how to do it???

  • I solved it!!! Just click on the object, at properties bar, select the Global to Yes! But now, it's not working anymore... wtf??? Okay, now it works but after I pressed the white theme icon twice. Or it will just be the default one, which is black... ugh... is this engine is really unstable???

  • Okay, I want to make 2 colours theme. Black and white. User can switch between them but the problem is when the user choose black for example, and then they go to back(to another layout), the colour is back to the default colour, which is white. This is really bad... how to fix this??? I use persist but it's not helping me because the use of persist is not what I want. I also try to use the destroy and then create the background white object but not working too... please help???

  • Please hear me out first. Yes, I know that the pause tutorial is out there somewhere but, whenever I created Pause Menu, that is created another layer just to show the pause menu. There is Play button, Mute button and Quit button. I set it to Invisible and it will visible whenever player press pause. But there is something strange happened, while the player is playing, not even press the pause button, the quit and the mute button is sometimes activated! So, the player will play the game and they keep clicking and then, poof! They back to the main screen. Is that a bug or what? Is invisible and visible layer is buggy? I don't know.

  • Yeah I know that you can use the event thing but can't it be really easy like unity to just double-click at the text object and you can write there? Is there anyway to do like that? It's really to write a text in Construct 2...

  • Hi! The game is good but what is the objective? And, the SFX when you hit some guy... oh... how it annoyed my ear! At least turn it down a bit(the SFX volume)

  • You have to keep the values of the variable in local storage if you want to remember its state after you close/exit the game, otherwise it will always reset to the initial value.

    How to that may I ask..... I'm so sorry. Really, really sorry...

  • Okay so, I'm making a simple piggy bank application. There's plus and minus button. I made a global variable to store my savings and the plus button will add $1 to my savings but every time I quit the game/app(what ever you want to call it.) its resetting the variable to 0. Which the global variable initial value. Can I just declared the variable and not adding any initial value?

  • You see, I have this line of event:

    Every random (0.5,5) secs spawn Customer 1 at the bla bla...[/code:3khpbafu]
    
    It working well but now I want the certain spawned customer to stop but not all of it. Just some of it to stop at the counter/cashier. If I make the Customer 1 to stop, it will stop all of it. I just want to stop certain of the spawned object, not all. Please help lulz
