  • Well it broke firefox on mine doing as ramones said...3 FPS...Boom...locked up crashed firefox required system reset....

    I always test on firefox, if it runs fine on that it should run fantastic in chrome...

    so the thought of losing dev time to make notes ect has been left at a passing thought, it's also not usually the way I work...think bull in china shop...lol...I will probably start a thread though...

  • The limits are HTML 5 in it's current form,2D and your target device specs...

    But you will probably hit your your own limits first...

    I suggest you experiment and find them...Oh and have fun...

  • Sounds like a "bug fest" waiting to happen and flies totally in the face of what construct 2 is about...

    I think the existing modular system is a good compromise keeping the core engine compact and robust...

  • I'm beginning to see why there are so few of this type of game,being developed, out of all the games I have done this is by far the most challenging, the side on view compounding that due to units being able to overlap each other, can be quite a nightmare, but also finding it the most satisfying...

    I was considering starting a dev log, but I'm buzzing with ideas and in the "zone" at the mo and don't want to be distracted while that is the case...
