  • That was it Wasn't sure what that did.

  • austin I'm having some success with Clay.io. However, there's a problem....

    <img src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10196246/clay.JPG" border="0" />

In the image, you can see the clay login (and eventually leaderboard too) is below the game screen. This login happens automatically. So, is there:

    1. A way to only make the login appear when a button is clicked?

    2. A way to overlay the login on/leaderboard top of the game screen?

    Thank you.

  • tap Should this work in Internet Explorer? I can't get it to load when the plugin is added. I want to eventually export my project to a Windows 8 app.

  • Great. Thanks.

  • austin Can you tell me what you mean by this?

    1) Export to Windows 8 (with windows 8 as the export mode in the Clay.io plugin properties)

I can only see these options with no mention of Windows 8 in the drop downs:

    API Key

    Debug mode

    Use clay.io styles

    Use clay.io loader

    Thanks.

  • I can't remember the exact process...it was trial and error. But I found a solution of sorts. Here's the project I used it on. It might get you going:

    Collidium

  • Got it. Thanks.

  • Link to .capx file (required!):

    Choose Problem Capx

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Observe in code that asteroids are created every x seconds. In this case, there are three rows with different creation times.

    2. Run the capx and wait for about 10 seconds.

    Observed result:

The second line of asteroids is the same as the first line.

    Expected result:

The second line of asteroids should have a gap sometimes....like the third line. So, the choose is just picking the first number in the list.

  • Hot dang! Music to my ears...and my mouse clicking fingers. ;) Thanks.

  • Many times, I copy code and use it on another sprite in my project. In a text based coder, I would use find/replace. At the moment in Construct2, I have to double click in to each event to change the sprite. Here's my suggestion to make that much faster.

I don't know if this or another method exists already. If it does, I'd love to hear about it!

  • I know there's an IK solver plugin for Classic, but what about Construct 2? Is there a way to do it with events?

  • Try Construct 3
