How would I make movable blocks that could be used for puzzles? If it is a solid object you can't move through it but, is it possible to move it. Thank you for the help!

Are there any specific ways to make a game with a top down perspective (not isometric) like The Legend of Zelda, Pac Man, Devil World, etc? I would really appreciate any help on the subject as my final project is based on this.

How do I transform a sprite while playing? For example when Mario gets a fire flower he turns into Fire Mario and can now shoot fireballs.

How would I make a platforming game where the screen continuously scrolls upward so if your caught at the bottom you die. Also if a certain time is elapsed the screen scrolls upward a certain amount.

I know Construct 2 can create solid color backgrounds on layers but, can it create gradient backgrounds? If you have ever used another program to make gradient backgrounds please let me know. Thanks for the help!
