Thanks for great update!
Very interesting, thanks!
Thanks a lot for new update, that debug list and also Steam export is great!
Yes you are right I also tried to export some games from templates and it works ok. But I have got much more bigger project with many graphic assets and there is always problem, I have to look into it more and then fill bug report. Without WebP it is ok.
I am getting:
sbox_fatal_memory_exceeded
during the export NW.js with these new WebP formats.
Hello there I am still having error with tween. I added comment with my info under existing bug report please take a look at it. I cannot use latest stable my game is freezing under it. I am force to use previous one 285.3.
github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues/5679
I am getting error when using JSON data like:
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'childrenData')
-> black screen and not loading.
Definitely I also would like to see some example usage of this new features, thanks for great update!
Can you please specify me benefits? Will it improve performance or what? Thanks for info :)
TBH me too :D I know it is all the nice but it does not improve the work in the program - new feature, better performance, update some plugins etc... nothing so I hope next time.
it is solved in R278 ;)
btw it solved my problem with global layer's visibility ;)
very nice thanks
Also thanks a lot! Great year for C3, but I am little worried about 3D things and your focus on it. Yea definitely it is catchy for new users but to be honest I cannot imagine whole game done with it to look good like from any 3D engine so maybe it is little bit dead end for me, but maybe I am not right. :)
But what I meant to say was do not forget on 2D because there are many users making 2D games and because of it using Construct. It will be really nice to update some outdated plugins etc etc.
Good luck with development and have a happy holidays and a happy new year.
Yea it is hard to fill bug report when I also tried it with new project and it was working ok. My project is too big and complicated to share it anywhere so what can we do with it?
