  • Thank you, this is not bad solution, but not perfect.. If i want to make 50-70 different levels so i have to make 50-70 different paths and 50-70 conditions to these.. so its not exactly what i want to do. I want to make something like "modules" which can i add to random levels, when i'll design them, and they'll work with the same conditions - just flexible modules, which can help designing levels and build them very easy.

    So if I could make 'clever' chain, checking all connectivity - so i'll be able to make different levels using the same assets, which are "programmed" at beginning.

    Im not sure if all these stuff is understanding

    I making the simply platform / puzzle logic game. But I was stuck at a standstill...

    I have no idea, how to make a "cable" - connecting chain between 2 or more objects which is builded from the same parts like simply rectangular section. For example, i have 'rectangle' named 'cable', 'the bulb' and the 'button'. But there is a path of 'cable' sections (5 or more duplications of cable) which makes a chain. So, I can't make just: "Button is overlapping cable" & "Cable is overlapping bulb" because it will make only 'remote' connecting , so even if chain of 'cables' will be not complete (like on the image below) the bulb will still work, because of condition "cable is overlapping bulb".

    So is there just a simply method to make that chain in C2?

    Can anybody help me, explain that method, or make simply example in C2?

    And its good direction to do what i want, but its imperfectly..

    Its work bad - when I make slide from down to up - the object will move in the same direction, but when i make horizontal slide after that - it goes still in Y direction. So i have to make 2 slides to change direction. This is first problem. Another is, that in this method, the object is moving always if i hold touch on screen. So i can touch in one place (without moving, sliding) and the object is moving forward.

    I searched whole internet Youtube tutorials and on this site too - i spent about 7 hours with no satysfying results..

    Does anyone can help me- how to make controling of the object by finger slide gestures? I mean, when i make slide/swipe by finger on the screen of my phone from down - to up - than i want to ove object proportionally from down to up (with the similar distance, speed and direction). But i dont wanna just "every tick, object A following on cursor/touch" or something like that..

    Just independly controlled object, which moves by slide gesture (direction, proportional speed and distance) - and if finger is touching screen - the move is still active.

  • Hey everyone.

    I just started my adventure with Construct 2 just few days ago. And I've made 2 tutorials - for beginners (Monster shooter game) and Platform game - for begginers, but I worked with similar softwares for making games couple years ago - it was The Games Factory and Multimedia Fusion <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /> so I'm not totally beginner.

    Ok, so i want to make simply Runner game, and I'm working on the template for that (there os one template for this type of games, in C2). But in this template there is no accelerating for GRound (blocks) on which the player is running. There is behavior 'Bullet' for the ground/blocks (tiled graphic) and the initial Speed is = 300. So I created the event that in > 7 seconds the Speed of blocks set to 400. But i know, maybe this isn't perfect event <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> And maybe it should look like "every next 20 seconds, add + 100 or 50 to speed" or something like that. But how to make good event for that?

    And I set the position of player to X=100 - so i keep player in the same position in X, apart of blocks movement speed.

    But I have another question. In template, there was that EVent with actions: oi67.tinypic.com/11j6qma.jpg

    So I want modificate that - when the speed of blocks movement will increases, then the distance between platform of blocks should increase too.. But how to do that?

    I have only one idea at this moment - to add sub event to this one with "< 20 seconds" and copy that whole event - and make another event with sub event "20 - 40 seconds" and there modify action with distance between appearing blocks.. But i'm not shure that its good too.. because I have to make that every 20 seconds for example to make the game harder ( increases speed of blocks movements and distances between blocks)

    Can you help me <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> ?
