    The Fix!

    couple of issues with the project nothing major but some of your image-points was not positioned

    Also you don't need a global variable to pick up an object it would be best to use a Boolean instance variable on the object you want to pick up.

  • I think you MAY be looking for scrollx and scrollY

    since i don't know much about your project i don't want to make up examples using scrollx and scrolly but i do think that's what your looking for.

  • What i would do is make a sprite called CheckpointNode or something of that nature

    Then maybe a instance variable on the player like "Lives" (give it a number of course for example 3)

    and when the player is supposed die/lose a life you can subtract a life and set the X/Y to CheckpointNode.

    If you have multiple CheckpointNodes you can make a variable to hold which checkpoint the player touched last so you can send him back to the right checkpoint.

  • I completely agree. I know I will pick it up and understand it sooner or later but for people wanting to pick it up and hope for that Construct simplicity they may be very discouraged like me but I'm willing to learn the process to make what I want, but for some may not have that same will. I do however believe that it CAN be simplified maybe like a Simple Multiplayer plugin for people who just want it to work lol, and leave the Multiplayer plug in as is for advanced users.

  • its been some time since i touched this project i think i may still have it but I'm not sure. I did not use an array i made a single sprite and named it something like SpaceNode and put SpaceNode over all the Black Spots on the board so when the player let go of the piece I set it to find nearest SpaceNode and then set position to SpaceNode

    after playing around i realized that the scoring is a bit messed up lol... maybe i will redo this project when the good Multiplayer is released for C2 add more automated things and such and skins to unlock I dont know where im going with it lol but i do want to redo the project with decent Online Multiplayer just for the learning experience.

  • Next update I added some effect and deley for water will be releasing in about 15 min. and the water sound should work in next update as well.

  • great idea as for the local multiplayer and i have planned a results page after each hole and in pause menu.

    as for holes there will be a full 18 and maybe down the road another course of 18 holes but for now the main goal is 18 holes 1 course

  • UPDATE: 0.6.0

    Added 2 New Holes (Holes 5 and 6)

    Hole 6 adds moving obstacle

    Also made it so when the ball slows down it comes to a complete stop, faster. (I know that was annoying waiting for the ball to hurry up and stop so fixed it :P)

    Please find any bugs and tell me or any suggestions preferably game play not art. This is my first game I plan of finishing fully and I don't want to spend lots of time on art :P besides i think this very simple style looks nice and works well.
