  • Take a look at this by Rojohound

    Not exactly what I want, but it comes close.

    I want to be able to change the coordinates of the vertices of the sprite at runtime.

  • This plugin might be what you are looking for: http://www.scirra.com/forum/topic62075.htmlIt's not exactly what I'm looking for because I can't fill it with a sprite

  • Hello,

    I was wondering whether it is possible to make sprites appear differently without making the new sprite myself but instead letting Construct 2 do it for me. Because English isn't my primary language I'm having some difficulty explaining the effect I would like to create, so I drew what I want:

    <img src="http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/8518/effectf.png" border="0" />

    I want the corners to move around a little, scaling eg the upper part down (making it smaller) and the lower part up (making it bigger).

    I hope you are able to understand what Im trying to explain, if not please tell me so I could try to make it clear another way.

  • So the problem is with your Graphics Card. What model is it ?

    It's an Intel? HD Graphics 8.15.10.2622

  • Does anything else look odd in Chrome? Have you tried creating other suff in C2 and testing them?Yes, pretty much everything looks blurry.

    Have you absolutely tried updating your graphics card drivers?Yup. But since I only have this problem in Chrome I think its not the fault of my graphics card drivers...

    Looks OK here. Is it running on WebGL or Canvas ?WebGL is on. I turned it off to see if there were any changes and the graphics got the same as in IE. So I guess I'll be running my game with WebGL turned off. Does this affect anything else?

  • Are you using Windows XP?

    Nope, windows 7

  • I reinstalled Chrome, but nothing changed. Any suggestions? :(

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    What I'm seeing in chrome:

    What I'm seeing in IE:

    Chrome zoom is 100%

    My graphics card is up to date.

    I'm using the latest stable version, but I've had this problem in older versions as well.

    Thanks for all replies :)

  • Pixel rounding: On

    Sampling: Linear

    When I change sampling to pixel, the graphics in chrome improve but are still not as nice as in IE, especially when I rotate a sprite.

    IE:

    <img src="http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/8526/ie2d.png" border="0" />

    Chrome:

    <img src="http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/2470/chrome2rv.png" border="0" />

    Pixel roundig has no effect on it.

  • I tested my game in several browsers and I noticed the graphics in chrome are terrible compared to Internet Explorer and Firefox.

    Internet Explorer:

    <img src="http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/457/internetexplorerc.png" border="0" />

    Firefox:

    <img src="http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/5089/firefoxin.png" border="0" />

    Chrome:

    <img src="http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/3107/chromehv.png" border="0" />

    I've always tested it in chrome and I thought it was normal to have ugly graphics :o

    How is this possible? Is this a known issue? Is there a way to get the graphics in chrome like they are in Firefox and Internet Explorer?

    When I set sampling to point it all looks the same, but when I make a sprite rotate it looks ugly again.

    I did some quick searching but couldn't find anything.

    Sorry for my bad English.

    Greetings,

    Jasper

  • Hai, I'm Jasper.

    I live in the Netherlands, almost 16 years old, and my hobbys are playing footbal, gaming & making games :)

    I have used GameMaker for quite a long time (I think I downloaded it 5 years ago). Bought their pro version (not the html5 one, too expensive :o).

    I got to know Construct via a gamemakerchat two days ago, and fell in love with it :) Today I bought the standard version. I hope Im gonna make some fun games ^^
