  • Here is another example of C2 running with 12000 3d shaped stars with my proto plugin... it use Phaser and pixijs framework..

    properties X;Y and Z speed with shape file !

    Is this plugin ever going to be released?

    Mr antares330 sorry for this but it'can be done with C2 events... This behavior is partially ready but i must code Collision detection; i have tested if it can be done with C2 and answer is YES.

    the oscillating formula is ypos= abs(amplitude * sin(counter)) ; counter is incremented ifinitely and then you can have bounce effect ;

    Here is another gift from me to all C2 Users..

    This time i would like share 2d starfield with Shape image, this mean you can load image instead of Dot.

    Tech info: Propreties: X speed, Y speed; Starcount eg 300;

    The stars are dispatched in 8 layers..

    After inserting 2dstarfieldshape plugin in your project;

    In propreties you have a Name of Shape File, this one is absolutely must present on your project.

    For example; Import FILE star.png in your projet this file goes to FILES drawer.

    To open .capx you must have protracker plugin ;

  • when you analyze the code original source. It is not difficult to trace the circuit you want. changing sprites etc. But for that you must have a basic programming . Therefore I work to make this plugin to make it as simple as possible. You should know that it's not easy. For example draw the track circuit calculate segments .. 200 segment straight for another 200 left 200 others to right .. 200 for the rest ... Finally it takes time ... <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad">

  • Got a bug with non fullscreen. It's going beyond the canvas. You can test it with the demo capx, just turn fullscreen off.

    Also, how hard would it be to populate a layer with stars, no parallax, no scroll, just a transparent layer with stars?

    I'm thinking multiple instances with multiple layers might be better in the long run.

    The existing C2 parallax system is so easy to work with.

    Of course this bug was fixed faster than light.. the code was optimized to gain max performance...

    sorry for this issue !

    The goal is easy to do starfield without manipulate anything.. 0 line of event etc...

    This pluginwas partialy minifyed with google closure compiler ... so you can't really change something inside ..

    Could this work alongside the three.js plugin you're developing?

    This is a shader , it works independently.

    threejs is very complicate to implement into C2. I am working really hard to do something for C2 users..
