  • Awesome! Thanks so much, mindfaQ! When I finish the project I'll send you a link.

  • Thanks for the help, I found one problem with it: whenever you input a number from the numpad, it enters "numpad [n]". Also, how would I go about setting an integer to the number which has been pressed?

  • So, for a school project, I'm programming a math game to help teach kids mental math. What's a good way to make a good looking version of a text box? I've tried to make it myself, but as I am very new to programming it ended up being a buggy mess. Basically, I want to be able to type in a number at the end of a math problem. If it's correct, launch function 'Correct', else, launch 'Incorrect'. I'm having trouble with the first part. Thanks!

  • Hey all, I'm Caleb or 'the head of Woodland Interactive'. 'The head of Woodland Interactive' is a name I call myself to make me look more professional, despite the fact I'm the only member of Woodland Interactive. I found out about Construct 2 from a makeuseof article about different game making software. From an early age, I've enjoyed games and soda. I still enjoy games and soda. I'm an avid redditor, with a sense of humor that makes me seem like a jerk.

I'm making a level select menu using the carousel effect R0J0hound posted a few years ago. The level select works but the problem is the animations for the locked/open/completed levels don't. Could someone help me out and also point out the problem so I don't do it again? Thanks.

  • sorry bud, Construct 2 is for 2D games. 3D games are possible but very limited.

edit: myst was way older than i thought

  • If you don't mind, maybe sharing some info regarding your game? Setting especially since it is one of the most important things if not the most important thing when considering colors.

The game I'm working on is a minimalist puzzle/racing game that's rather upbeat. I've made most of the levels but I need different colors so each level seems unique.

  • Hi all, I'm wanting to know what color scheme I should make a game, so I'm gathering some statistics. What's your favorite color, what emotions do you associate with it? Thanks.
