  • Hello there,

    I bought the early adopter.

How can i have my badge ?

    i've made a quickly research.

It seems that if you write an email to flashgamelicense.com they could find you some advertisers if your game is quite nice.

Also it seems that kongregate already host some construct2 games.

Finally, i found spil games and it seems they are very focused with mobile html5 games. They already made contests with high revenue for the winners, here is the website : spilgames and here is the contest -> html5contest.com

also other ways to monetize :

Facebook - Google Chrome Store (even if i still haven't understand how technically monetize a game through facebook or chrome).

Android Market - iPhone Store (via phonegap)

the main goal of this topic is to provide Answers to all these people that already have a funny game, already played from several users, and they Are now starting to think to monetize their own game.

Another example, but for flash games, is :

    flashgamelicense.com

i'd like to find some portals like it but for html5 games. So everyone could earn moneys from his own game.

Exactly what i was talking about Lucid.

I suggest to make a list of company, portals or websites interested to buy HTML5 games or make sponsorships as it happen in flash games.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

Hello Ketolou and many thanks for your answer.

To be honest my goal is exactly what You said. I already started a blog months ago just for fun. I added adsense after 4 months when i had 15000 unique users x month. I finally sold my blog in september and i gain good money. So I know very well what are the steps to make money . First i want to make a nice game, and after and only if it Will have a great success i Will start to thinking in make money.

So for now it's just an hobby, just for fun as You said.

But the main goal of this topic is to provide Answers to all these people that already have a funny game, already played from several users, and they Are now starting to think to monetize their own game.

This topic it's not just for me but for all. To talk about the scene of the Market of HTML5 games, how can they earn money, what sponsorship can they do, what are the better affiliations or websites. Like already is the Market of the flash games.

    Regards,

    mr sponkie

I was wondering to how do You make money with HTML5. I have neve made a game but after a lot of tests i'm starting to make my first game.

I'm willing to become an Early Adopter and i would like to earn money but unfortunately I haven't seen any companies or websites which are willing to buy HTML5 games (i.e game sponsorships). I was hoping somebody could tell me about a company who would do this or why people don't buy html games?

  • no i don't need the bullet will destroy.

    How can i make "character.X NOT" ?

  • Hello there,

    I have a little problem ,

I have to set a bullet with speed 10, but when my charachter is behind the bullet it's speed become 100 and then 0 on collision with another object.

Here is what i've do for now :

    behaviors/bullet/speed 10

character <= BULLET.X-5 set bullet speed to 100

bullet on collision with another object set bullet speed 0

Unfortunately the bullet still continue to run with speed 100.

Alternatively it could help me also a way to stop my bullet on collision with another object..

    may you help me?

  • The theme of the competition is "Reclamation" (as in to reclaim something). This is a pretty broad topic, for example this includes, but is not limited to: something lost or stolen... an object, memories, or person.

Sorry, this include a reclamation of, for example, a mood? a reclamation of the freedom, the equality, the love, could be possible to fix with your competition theme?

  • Guys, please we must to be realistic !!!

A competition theme means that all those persons are already working on their own

Project have to stop it and start another One for the Challenge Theme.

Imho an open competition to all kind of theme/categories could be great and even receive more projects.

With all these projects You could divide the winners by categories, eg. A winner for a puzzle game, another for the platform, another for the space game, etc...

  • hello ashley and thank you for your help, i didn't updated you but i re-installed the drivers and now C2 seems to work fine, only previous projects still have problems (still don't know why), but if i restart a new project all works fine. It's very strange i know...

I still have to install r67 because now i'm not at home, i'll do it when i'll be back at home.

Anyway, i would like to become an early adopter, i really like your hard job guys and i'd like to support it. But if sometimes i have problems with C2 i don't want to spent money for something that now works but still don't know in future. I know that the main problem is my graphic card. I'll look to change my notebook as soon as possible (my notebook is quite old, i bought it in november 2007), but for now i'm wondering if there will be the possibility to have a stable version of C2 for my graphic card ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470 , if you succeed to provide your software C2 for most of the graphics cards, even old ones, I think that you will increase the number of supporters. Or maybe not, this is only my problem, in that case don't worry about me, i'll look to change my notebook as soon as possible (unfortunately MONEY are always the main problem when you have to buy a new notebook :D).

    Regards,

    your italian fan
