  • Been working on this simple concept for a casual game I'm calling "Fireman's Challenge" - essentially you're tasked with putting out the fires section by section on an urban building. You get two moves, and then the fire spreads once.

    Play the demo here:

I'd love some feedback - thanks guys!

  • Hello -

I've been looking into game portals for a little bit now, and I'm wondering if anyone out there has had any experience that they would like to share - good or bad - with html5 game portals. Have you used a large distribution service before? Did you see any revenue? Have you had any success with your own game portals?

Thanks guys! Maybe there's already a thread like this out there, but I haven't found any in the last week or so, and I feel like a discussion like this could benefit a lot of people in the community.

  • Hate to re-hash this old thread... I found the ad4game integration to be extremely simple, but I've read a bunch of bad reviews about them offering high payouts and then closing your account. Anybody have any experience with them?

  • Gamedistribution is exactly what the name suggests. It is a site that distributes flash games and html5 games. So far I've created 2 games that are on the site. It is sort of what Mochimedia used to be back in the day when flash games were really big.

The gamedistribution support staff is very responsive and usually gets back to you within one day.

You can monetize your games with them. I think that developers get 33% of the ad revenue, with publishers getting 33%, and gamedistribution getting the other 33%. However, it seems I haven't made any money so far. Still this is a great place to get your games distributed as far as I can tell.

I'm fairly new to all this so it is too early to tell if I'll end up with any money from it or not.

Hey Angela, just wondering what your revenue is looking like for Gamedistribution since your last post. Have you seen any success on there?

  • This is cool template i would like to buy but i am ising construct 3 and i am afraid to face some problems on plugin part?? i am asking if i can use this template on construct 3 without any problem

Hello! This uses no 3rd party plugins. Unless the tilemap object doesn't port over well (I haven't checked as I'm still working with C2 primarily) it should work fine.

  • legit

  • I'm waiting for this one to make the full jump..

  • Hello Scirras,

Man - it's been a while since I've posted on here. I recently had the opportunity to build a small game for a local company, and I'm just about near the end of the project (it's a small one). It's based on one of the original characters that this store recently created. Anyways, thought I'd post it here for anyone interested.

Pretty straight forward - get carrots, don't get caught by the vulture!

You can tap targets too to destroy them, but right now they don't do anything (yet).

Right now, filling up your carrot meter also does nothing.

Will eventually have a web and mobile release - maybe an in-store setup as well!

  • I have a question can you show where the part for spawning the player is.

Hey bud! So the player is spawned using the tilemap object. Wherever you place the player tile is where the player will spawn. Is that what you're asking, or are you asking about the particular event sheet?
