  • yep, we have a sprite "flake" with 5 animation frames, each being different size flakes.

    and so every...random..seconds a flake is created at random point next to the player, as the camera follows the player and falls random. well its alot deeper then that but you can understand by looking at it.

    that way you dont need to rain on the whole level but just around the camera to fool.

  • thanks, i hope that will do the trick, the default sounds on fl are just..too little too default

    i was gonna look for soundfonts but vst should be better.

    oh and i forgot to put ice brake sounds...damn...i forgot the best sound

    all i know is i have fl studio 9 and i dont have a clue...

    i got shivers, i just sended my application to steam with only the test level, without title screen even, i hope they too like the graphics, i think its great for 3 dollars and even competes with most the indie games they have on the store, but seeing all the premium big company titles there im getting shivers, i cant handle rejection...

    the sounds were made by a WONDERFULL TOOL called SFXR, its free google it. its going to make your fx making so much easier, thank god for that.

    let me help you if you like some of the mechanics in my game, ill tell you how the events work.

  • if some stronger encypt security is easy to do nice, but otherwise yes.

    we dont wanna turn into those creatures from istockphoto, that want money for a photo of some flower, or a tree, or ground snow, a picture that i can snap in 5 minutes my self

  • indeed high five, while i do understand being cutting edge by allowing us to make html 5 games is nice, but exe's are still the most desired format, html 5 is nice if i perhaps make games for facebook and wanna make MONEY, but i still preffer exe and mobile formats.

    without that i am forced to start my new rts next month on the old construct again

  • i dont need game maker, if i wanna write pages of code just to make my character jump ill just write the whole thing on c++. thank god for construct.

    but the team really needs to make an exe exporter. ipod and iphone and android exports are great, if they really work that easy its a blessing, but dont forget exe....

  • note a problem, actualy steam dosn't know about it. steam wants an almost finished game to look to. and i got another week until i finished it. it seems they opened their market to the indie scene, they have a indie section, with some games, so nice for us. their publishing is called steamworks and they have a .doc which you download and fill and send to their email.

    they want a gameplay video link, a game link, links to reviews if you have some and information.

    chances are with my finished game i should have no problem.

    but you know you gotta stay positive, because the whole world will try to ignore you and keep you down.

    marketing is a big part, you gotta send the game to indie review sites, facebook, youtube, and all that.
