  • Ok I fixed that issue but if I want multiples of the same sprite to attract each other it doesn't work like they'll both just start moving in one direction

  • I want all the objects to move and attract each other like planets and such

  • So I'm making a game where I want all the objects to interact with each other gravitationally. It seems to be working but for some reason even if I set the world gravity to zero the objects still fall to the bottom of the screen. Anybody know how to fix this our just a way to do this that won't cause this issue?

  • Si I was planning on a game where the players makes planets and things like that, is there anyway to simulate each particle being formed to have gravity?

  • So I don't have smart phone or anything like that to test them on. Is there any other way to see how they work? Also I've been hearing that the controls for them are a little wonky like they don't measure the degrees very well

  • Ok I figured out the problem once you said it should be at the top left, the text wasn't inside the dashed line square

  • I made a platformer game and for the HUD I made a layer called HUD and set it's parallax to 0 and it worked in my other games but for some reason any text set to that layer disappears if the parallax is 0,0. If I change back to 100,100 it works and when I set it to 0,100 it works (for some reason 100,0 doesn't) anybody have ant idea what's going on? Because it worked fine on other games

  • Thank you

  • I'm not sure I worded that right at all but how do I check for something not happening like how do I check that the player isn't falling or that something isn't colliding. I've noticed in some tutorials there might be a big red X before the falling or on collision or something like that but I can't find that anywhere

  • Thank you

  • Ok nevermind I figured it out also I'd like to apologize for asking so many questions, I just get frustrated easily and my first instinct is to just ask for help but I learn quickly and eventually probably won't really need to ask questions anymore

  • I have one event sheet with 2 layouts. I have a simple menu with just the instructions then you hit a button and it takes you to the next screen but for some reason things will only affect the menu screen

For example: If I program every second create a square on layer 1 at a random x and random y area it'll work perfectly fine on the first layout but nothing will happen on the second one
