  • Very nice! We still have the old light guns, Virtua Cop disc and Sega Saturn in our lab at work - this definitely scratched an itch! The sight on the enemies with the countdown triangles was spot on.

I started out shooting 'offscreen' to reload, whoops.

Next up House of the Dead?

You have Virtua Cop at work?? I wish...

House of the Dead would be cool, but I'll finish other projects or make a full version of VC before that.

  • Looks, great! Love the lighting in the water and how the 'reflection' goes away when the lamps are destroyed. Is there some other way to delinate what is hackable or not? For example a symbol (animated?) or color instead of the 'Hack' text tag? Or is there some stylistic reason you would rather have a text tag? I do see the prompt '>', so perhaps you are trying to show this is a old school DOS shell or something (which does seem good and thematic.)

It's just a placeholder, I might use a word or a symbol for the final version.

  • Using a simple disable hack on a drone to clear the way.

  • Just played it, brilliant work! Plays really nice and looks top notch.

    :)

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • Impressive. Did you make/recreate all the graphics by hand or ran them through a filter of some sort?

It looks very authentic as well. Small things. Like how the splash screen 'resets'.

Thanks! I drew all the graphics in Aseprite, some I copied the design of the original and some I had to redesign to fit.

  • Metro Cop is a game I made for the 2018 Demake Jam and is a version of Virtua Cop as it might have looked on the Sega Master System.

    You can play it here:

  • Bewildering burial action!

GG is an action game where you must carry out various tasks in a graveyard to keep your job.

    Gameplay

The goal of the game is to keep your job and complete the stages.

To keep your job you must keep your boss happy. To keep the boss happy you must water flowers and repair tombstones if they get damaged (look out for birds!).

You must also bury caskets and lay wreaths when new customers arrive.

IMPORTANT: I forgot to include it in the title screen instructions, but the ‘B’ key or Spacebar will consume an enery drink.

GG was created in 48 hours for the Ludum Dare 42 game jam. As part of the competition you must also release your source code/project files.

You can play and download the C3 project file from itch.io here:

  • Still some animations to do but movement is coming together.

  • This is fantastic well done! Will you be able to do an accessibility option for players that find the blue color slightly too difficult to see?

Yes! I think someone asked me on Twitter before. I'm planning to do a C64 palette, and colour blind palettes, and anything else that comes up in testing.

  • Trying to give the player multiple approaches on every screen, colour is also important to quickly show what they can interact with and how.

  • how to make the light color effcet , some area have the dynamic color,Do you use sequence frames or webgl effects to make it? thanks

Hi, I used a monochrome layer underneath a layer of colours with the multiply effect.
