I changed the title of your post, it was pretty misleading.
There's not much about game design in that document than common sense on how to be a student/try to get a job in any industry.

I'm starting to mess with the Spriter plugin/application, and tbh it's a great tool, keep up the good work Lucid !
AlexFili: if you're using physics, don't minify the exported project and all should work.
Create a new layer (Layer 1), set its parallax propriety to 0,0 put the text objects on this layer and you should be set.

I think I've missed the point of the discussion then.
If you want to discuss about a specific tutorial, that's what the comments of the tut itself are here for, right ?
What about putting tutorials in the tutorials part ?
Things are different between CC and C2.
There isn't anymore degrees/angles per animation.
You might want to check this tutorial which can provide some useful informations about animations.
Depends if you have made it so to assign values to those variables in your main/menu layout.
Provide your capx, it will be simpler to spot where things might go wring and provide efficient help.
