  • If no one asked how to become a Wii U developer , then no one would be one.

If it was the first time the question was asked, you'd maybe be right.

Nonetheless, with a quick search in the forums you'd see it's actually an often asked question that has already been answered numerous times.

And it doesn't prevent the fact that Aurel has probably something else to do with his time currently then answering those kind of questions anyway.

So in the end, my statement that your advice was bad stands.

    I don't see how it's not friendly.

Sorry if it came across wrong, my intent was, as usual, to inform.

  • Penelope is on the Wii U and it was made with construct. Contact the developer personally and maybe he can help you.

Wrong and terrible advice, don't follow it.

NDA means you legally aren't allowed to discuss the subject of the NDA. Period.

In the case of Wii U development, you can fill the application to become Authorized Developer and then will get access to a private forum where you'll be able to download Wii U development with other Authorized Developers.

Contacting any known AD while not being Authorized yourself is just a waste of time. Yours, and the person you are contacting.

Moreover, Aurel is in the final touches to release his game during January he has a lot of other things to do for now. Better leave him alone in this critical time.

  • Desktop applications are done through Node-Webkit.

Wii-u export is only available to Nintendo Official Developers. Go to http://wiiu-developers.nintendo.com/ and fill out an application.

  • It actually takes place in the event sheet view - and you are looking to "replace object" first before any deletion.

In conjunction with event search (Ribbon - Event view), you can find all instances of the use of the object in your event sheet, replace the object, than finally deleting it.

It's mostly a matter of organisation as well, you shouldn't be going around and having to delete objects all that often.

It cannot be an option to not delete the code lines, as otherwise it would mess with the current code completion, syntax detector and overall the way Construct 2 works.

This has already derailed too much so I'm closing this thread right now. If you want to have a debate with me, you already have my PM.

All games since this post got deleted.

    Sorry for the delays.

  • In the state bar at the very bottom of the screen you have the number of events being used.

Global and local variables count as events, so do groups.

  • This whole discussion revolves around the fact that games get "stolen" from Scirra's arcade.

But according to the terms of use and the fact that there is an embedding code in each game's page, it's not the case. At all.

It's always been a part of the arcade that games can be shared/used over other websites.

You don't want your game being taken from the arcade and put elsewhere ?

Easiest protection is to not upload your game to this online service as its terms of use does not fit you.

And that is the very same with all online services. You don't like how they perform according to their term of use ? Don't use them.

  • Please, pay attention to what and where you are posting.

Moved this topic to "Open topic", because that what it is, nothing to see with website issue.

Good luck with Blender and Lua.

  • You can do it the same way you integrate any object/plugin in a layout of Construct 2.

It is one of the most basic steps that are covered in the beginner's guide be sure to do the complete tutorial before going further.

Double-click or right-click on the layout and select "Insert new object".

Then select the plugin you want to add, in that case Video.

  • So yes I sent you to the official download, that will make you download "construct2-r190-setup.exe" if you take it directly from the website, and should allow you to download the same file even if you take it from torrent.

Nowhere is there a trace of "systemprotector.lua" in that installation file.

It's likely you got your computer infected with it from elsewhere, and it is a file/software (apparently with a quick google search the software "Advanced System Protector" that can be erased with CC cleaner).

Before raising hell every now and then, you should first have a look around and search by yourself before throwing accusations.

Also, people who are still using r178 generally tend to be using an old pirate license.

It did not really occurred to me in the previous topic and I still went right away to provide help.

But if it ends in allegations that "a moderator is framing you" perhaps your next request for any kind of help will simply get ignored.
