This is a tester, just to see if I can get the reels to work on other machines.

I changed/ added a some stuff in the fx code.

you will need to run the new Capx in the download to test it.

ParalaxZoom effect

Add a 3d zoom effect to a seamless background image.

Parameters-

Zoom_depth - Depth of the Zoom. 0 (= none) to 50. default 36.

ImagescrollX - Horizontall amount(in pixels) to seamlessly shift the image.

CameraYpitch - Adjust the Ypitch of effect, -16 to 16.( look up/look down) default 0

You could try doing the blur in 2 passes (using the 2 effects shipped with C2 - Horizontal then Vertical)

Might be less intensive?

Or try reducing with the 2 param values in my effect (line 10 and 11)

The effect deforms the background image (the depth) to simulate either a

3d'ish seamless side scrolling effect, or 360deg seemless Skybox.

I found a bunch of screenshoots I took when I was working on it-

This one renders a scrolling mode7 type floor effect.
