you could also try inkscape.It's a vector graphics based app and creating characters is easy with inkscape.

Fail , Your plugin does not work.i installed the gwendemo plugins and when i try to run your example cap construct still asks for the plugin.im using construct r2.

Correction Fail = me being technically challenged again (aka dumbass).My directories changed with one off my hd's.

I tried your capx and everything seems to work fine on this side.The buttons work as they should.What browser are you using to test your capx?.I tested it with chrome.

Put all the sprites in one folder and choose the folder ,Click on the convert button to convert all the sprites to png format.The app will create another folder inside your folder with the masked sprites.
