Seeing that my game doesn't seem to run correctly in the arcade section , here is the link to the game. asteroid avoider

Arrow keys = move ship

Spacebar = fire missiles

The goal of the game is to avoid the asteroids and you will lose points if you shoot the asteroids.

New Free sprites are up on my website. 3 different Ufo's+ Spaceship and a topdown view of a car with braking light frame.

you could do that with an animation.And when the plumber decides to retrieve the snake you just reverse the animation.

I also agree with fimbul. And thank you Fimbul for those comprehensive tips and suggestions . Creating full sets for games are much better than just making a few sprites for a particular genre. That is why i am holding back and giving away some off my sprites for free in the meantime. Create full packs where the buyer won't have the need to get any extra stuff to create a full game.

R112 dreaded exit crash raised it's ugly head again.This time i managed to get the crash every single time . I downloaded kyatric's space shooter tutorial cap and decided to change the enemy saucers with my own.After i did that the app refused to exit yet again.

This only happens when you try to change a previous sprite with a new sprite.Once the game is saved and you reopen the updated capx file it exits like it should again.

Made two new freebie sprites.The first one is a turret with character and the second one is a full solitaire card set with the background. So go grab yourself a free copy of a complete solitaire card set and background plus a gun turret which would fit nicely at the back of a plane or spaceship. All this for free without the need to register to get them. Be sure to leave a comment when you have finished downloading these sprites.

thank you for the help everyone and sorry for being such a jerk.I just get so angry at myself sometimes and that's when i usually turn into a complete jerk/idiot.I know i should not power bump so please forgive my moronic behaviour.Now to get some sleep .Maybe things will work better if i get some rest.

I am familiar with arrays for puzzle games and i can do the shuffling decks thing , It's that placement thing which gives me a headache.I suppose i could use some variables or booleans to sort the order of the cards in a way.Maybe i am just overworked , 21 hours straight doing fine art on a car for a local racing game can be quite exhausting.
