I have some projects in mind, (before anything, sorry for my english), and I want them to be true but I have an issue with my C2 license:I don't have any license! So I mean, I'm a pirate but just have some reasons, let me explain and please answer me. I was wondering to know if I can make a game and then publish it and earn some money to buy the license? The question is that I'm not adult yet and can get a descent job to pay it, thanks.

when the player shot and hit families, the flash behavior doesnt work

• addd sprites to families
• shot the sprites
• adding flash behavior to families doesnt affect the sprites

You can also add instance variables startX and startY to the Letters sprite. On start of the layout, save X and Y position of Letters instances to these variables.

Then if the letter is dropped on an occupied grey box, return it to (startX, startY) position.

About this one, is it a plugin? I don't seem to have that startX or startY though.

Instance variables are covered in the Manual. Please try to do a little research for yourself - this is how you will speed up your understanding of the Event system.

Obviously, there is no problem asking for help, but your questions show you have not really read and understood the manual yet.

You can't - the actions are mutually exclusive. Actions are a result of the Conditions, and 'OR' is a Condition, so would usually be part of the 'If - Or' Condition Event.

For this case, it may be better to use 'Else', but we would need to see your Events, or a better description of exactly what you are trying to accomplish.

Just as the title says really. I can add effects to individual objects, but there doesn't look to be an option for me to add one to the layout itself (or maybe I'm just being blind).

Just to clarify - are you asking for help with Construct Classic or was this posted in this section by error?

Have downloaded the .capx from dop2000 and can verify there is nothing wrong with the file, which just leaves a problem on your system.

Something is affecting the file either whilst downloading, or after downloading.

Do you have have problems when launching C2 and opening a template/example?

How big is your project? Have you got thousands of images?

Have you got lots of Layouts / Event sheets open at the same time?

Under 'File/Preferences/ Misc/Other' have you changed the 'icon' mode?

Final suggestion - let users here try to load your project and report back to you.
