  • Email outlining your request and Tom will probably ask for some details to verify your purchase, then you'll get your badge.

  • I would personally rather not have Ashley spending valuable time on developing importers for other development systems that may only be of benefit to the minority of users.

I have a handful of other dev systems, and it doesn't take a great deal of effort to reproduce the same mechanics in C2.

Just my opinion - no offense implied or intended.

  • It will be difficult to help if you don't follow the bug posting guidelines and include a small .capx with steps outlining how to reproduce the problem.

Also, you are on a very old build, and Ashley always states to use at least the latest stable build, which is r184. Try updating first then see what happens. If it is a bug then it may have already been fixed.

  • No matter how many times you click close, as soon as I click on another topic - in the manual for instance - that bloody thing pops up again.

  • Unless you attach a .capx with instructions, Ashley will more than likely just close this as he has no way of reproducing the error.

  • You have provided very little to go on, I'm afraid.

If at all possible, can you provide a link for others to test?

Where are you hosting? Have you tried hosting somewhere else?

How large is the project? Is it just timing out when trying to download assets?

What browsers have you tried it on?

Are there any error messages in the browser error console?

  • If it's just for you, and I notice you have a license, then Node-webkit my be the way to go (see attached - requires r184 or above). This has the ability to run any file you wish.

  • No-one is going to create the game for you, unless of course you are willing to pay.

The .capx already provided is a good start, and there are many more examples in the How Do I section that can help you, if you put in the effort. The basic mechanics should be within your ability if you've done some tutorials and read the manual.

Many people on this forum will be more willing to help you when they see you have at least made an effort or attempted to create it yourself. When you hit a particular snag, post a .capx and we can help you.

    Good luck.

  • The first page of that tutorial does say that you need a license for the bundle:

[quote:1b6oynrf]This tutorial uses the Jungle Platformer sprites from the bundle you get when you purchase Construct 2. Once purchased, click the Download media bundle link in the About dialog to get the extra assets bundle.

However, any graphics - even if just placeholder shapes - will be adequate, as you will learn valuable knowledge of the mechanics of the system regardless.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • How many events?

It would make updating / amending much easier if your event sheet was split into relevant sheets - animation, collision, globals etc - and these jst included into main. That way, you cane alter just the section you want without having to trawl through reams of events.

    Just a suggestion.

  • Have you tried unticking the Preference option in Misc called cache icons?

  • The only suggestion I can think of is to check using the debugger, and also check the browser console for any error messages.
