  • Regarding Effect use, keep in mind the free version limitations:

    [quote:1zx748xt] A maximum of 100 events in a project

A maximum of 4 layers in any layout

A maximum of 2 effects in a project

No folder organisation in the project bar

    No event search

    No configurations bar

    No Families

    No Preview on LAN

Not allowed to be used for commercial purposes (however, it can be used in education and other non-profit organisations)

Considering this has only just started happening, are you then suggesting it is a bug in the actual C2 software? If so, you should follow the bug reporting guidelines or no-one will be able to help, and Ashley will close your post automatically.

If you are just asking for help, then you should really post in the 'How Do I' section, and then everyone can try to help.

This has been covered numerous times and is found easily via search. This will only work as long as you haven't made use of any new features after r195.

    Summary:

    1. Go to the project file. If it's a .caporj file, skip step 2.

    2. If it's a capx, unzip it (capx are just zip files basically).

    3. Now, open the caproj file in a plain text editor.

    4. Look for the following string, minus quotes: "<saved-with-version>". It's only a few lines down from the top.

    5. You'll see this tag has a 5 digit number; it's the c2 version padded with 2 zeros (so, r200 will look like 20000). Change the first 3 digits to match version you want to revert to, i.e. 19500.

  • No way near enough information.

Seriously, you must follow the bug reporting guidelines or how is anyone meant to help you?

This is the section for bugs in the actual C2 software.

Wouldn't a more appropriate section for this be 'Website Issues'?

  • Okay, I found the answer as this is the first thing that pops up in Google search. Also note the date of my post as I'm using the most current version of C2.

    1) Click to the project propriety window--

    2) Mess with all the "Project" and "Configuration" settings.

After turning things on and off, I got my game to load with no blur.

But why post in the CC section in a 4 year-old thread?

  • I'd like to aks if there's been any progression on this topic? It's 2015 and there's still no good alt+enter control (as switching modes between windowed and fullscreen).

You're bumping a 7 year old thread about software that is effectively dead?!?

  • That's a very broad question - there are Phd students doing their thesis on the very same thing.

    Maybe you should elaborate.

  • File/Preferences/Reset Dialogs might help.

  • The 'Dialogs.xml' is already part of the .capx as a Project file.

The .capx is available from the playable Arcade link, as mentioned in the first post by Kyatric.

  • Everything (I think) you seem to need is in the edittime.js and runtime.js of the plugin. Is that what you mean?

  • Wenutz

Here is the .capx converted for r206.

You should search how to open newer .capx in older versions as the process is very easy and has been covered in numerous previous threads
