  • I want my enemies to randomly fire at my player, with a maximum of 2 times per each enemy.

    You see, they are moving in and out of the screen, I want them to fire twice each time they are on screen, then travel off screen. I dont want them to fire twice in a row though, it should be random.

    Any suggestions. I haven't seen any tutorials on enemy fire if someone would like to point on out to me though, I'd much appreciate it.

  • Thank you for the suggestion. The tutorial was very helpful in many aspects of the game I am currently making. However it did not address this question at all.

    I want the enemies to have a point value, and upon destruction have those points added to a score. Which would then be displayed in the UI.

    The tutorial showed me how to make a health point value but not a point value.

  • UPDATE: Problem solved. I double clicked my layout and it all showed up again.

  • UPDATE: I went into my objects tab and I see all of my sprites.

  • Where did My CAP go. I opened up my file today and there is absolutely nothing in it. It is like a new file! Does anyone know where it went or how to recover it.

  • How do I make my enemy's have point values when they are destroyed? and a score tracker?

  • Thanks for everyones help. I got it exactly how I wanted it with the 8 way directional, and then removing the rotate and up and down.

  • I did look at Sin, it is what im using to make the boat bob in the water. It should be left and right, like the paddle in breakout or arkanoid.

  • Please do not yell at me, this is my first project.

    I am trying to give a boat behavior on a 2d plane.

    It does not turn, it does not go up or down, I just want it to go left and right.

    Does anyone know how I can do this?
