  • Thanks for the feedback... I have improved my timing a great deal since those songs were put up... As far as structure/drums, I think that just boils down to personal preference... Still, I definitely appreciate you taking the time to listen and give feedback, that's what I NEED! As far as Tonks goes, I'm sure there can be more than one music... Perhaps the two of us could even team up for epic combo music action!

  • Absolutely, AMAZING use of a sampled orchestra, you'd think it was the real deal if you didn't already know...

  • Agalloch is my soundtrack of choice for Oblivion/Morrowind. I think that it works perfectly for the whole wandering the forest kind of thing...

  • Ha, I'm still a bit iffy about that game...

  • Not sure how many of you have played The Witcher, or heard of the band Vader, but both are pretty cool (The Witcher is highly underrated, in my opinion) and they come together in a very awesome way in this thing...

Metal was just MADE for games. I mean, if you listen to the amazing soundtrack for Castlevania: Symphony of the night, there is so much metal influence that seeps through... I'd like to see more examples of games and metal coming together (two of my favorite things in one place), anyone got any other examples?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Just played the build of Tonks you have up, very nice, I used to spend countless hours playing Scorched Earth YEARS ago, this brought back memories...

Hmmm... The game isn't so fast actiony, I would normally think thrash metal for tanks, but for this I'm thinking something a little slower, brain pounding doomdeath stuff... I'll throw some ideas together and PM you when I have something to show you... Definitely down for this though, I really like what you've got going so far!

  • Thanks a lot! My offer always stands, just let me know!

  • I'm capable of doing almost any style, although I focus primarily on metal for my own work. You can find a few songs I've done in that style at http://dgf-azazel.newgrounds.com/, under audio portal submissions. I also did the music for Soldat, so if you've played that game you've heard some of my very early work. I'm willing to work for free, getting my name out is the goal, if you're interested then send me a PM, and I'd be more than happy to discuss things with you or send you a sample of something in the style you want!

  • Hi! I'm Azazel, I'm a musician/programmer (mostly musician) from Las Vegas. If you have ever played the game Soldat, you've heard my work, as I composed the music for that game (so long ago).

My current project is a game with no title yet involving little 16 pixel low res characters blowing each other to pieces! It's still in a very early state of development, but when I get something interesting put together I'll throw some screenshots or an early build up so you can see where I'm going with this (It's a little more complex than my description might lead you to believe)!

As far as music goes, I tend to compose mostly metal/rock stuff. I play guitar, bass, and drums (sort of). If you want to hear some stuff I've done, the only place i can direct you to right now is my Newgrounds page, which is definitely not up to date, but has some music on it for you to listen to... It can be found at http://www.dgf-azazel.newgrounds.com. If you like it, I'm always interested in composing for people's projects, and I'm not limited to metal, although that's what I focus on personally.

I'm very happy with Construct, very very happy, It's one of the easiest, most feature packed programs of this type, and being free is just the icing on the cake. I'm certainly going to enjoy being a part of what appears to be a very helpful and fun community, and everyone should always feel free to PM me if you need music, or for anything at all! NICE TO MEET YA!
