  • You can't really do real-time multiplayer at the moment.

Why do you say that? Aside from the obvious lack of gamepad support, I'm guessing it's because you assumed he meant online co-op.

  • Ah that's a pity, glad I'm not the only one having the issue at least!

  • It seems that once a day (don't know what time it happens), the entire forum is being marked as read. So all the forums and topics appear grayed out, which is quite frustrating as you can no longer visually see which topics you've visited.

Just wondering since this issue has been bothering me since this new forum, is it just me? Might have been some setting I pressed or something.

  • Fantastic, Construct 2 is looking like a decent option for me if gamepad support gets added.

  • I say it sky-rah

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Some things off the top of my head: Good graphics, good audio, enjoyable moveset/mechanics, challenges that utilise all the moves available to the player, good "flow" in level design (challenges that continually build up in tension), no "cheap" difficulty (as in there should be some sense of warning or build-up to each thing so that the player has time to react).

  • That dwarf looks awesome Psihrus.

  • It seems like more of an "honesty" thing to me, basically you buy the Business one if you make over $5000 USD with the Standard Construct 2, or if are using Construct 2 in a for-profit organisation.

  • Can HTML5 support controllers/gamepads on windows/linux/mac?

  • Passed for me (i5 2400, AMD 6850).

  • That's handy didn't notice that. But what I mean is in regards to conditions, so that you can do "[variable] is down" condition.

So this way you could set custom controls (you can do something like this is almost every professional game), such as:

    __

    -Condition: Any key pressed.

-Action: set sprite variable to [key pressed]

    __

    -Condition: [variable] is down

    -Action: do what ever

  • Will the keyboard object eventually allow for custom input or will that, as tradition in MMF/Construct, be something other developers have to make an extension for?

For instance, being able to use an expression instead of being specific like "enter pressed".
