  • Ruskul This is AWESOME! Thank you so much for coming through and taking the time to put this together, this was beyond helpful. Briefly tested it last night and everything so far seems to work perfectly! Initially I got an error message and had to change a few more lines to reflect the new behavior name, but after that it was smooth sailing. Thanks again, this is very very much appreciated!

    PS. How did you know the kind of game/mechanic I'm aiming to use this for;)

    PPS. I have the same intentions as Colludium , mixing this with the Platform+. Have yet to try it but hopefully it's added just as easily as with the standard Platform behavior..

  • Jayjay thanks for your reply, sounds like a big ole mess with million possible causes and combinations and quite scary frankly, hopefully you were able to sort it out somehow in the end.

    Looks like I have to try to keep my object/event count tightly in check, test as often as possible with different machines and expect the unexpected..

  • Asmodean Awesome! I managed to get somewhat close by using "Pick nearest" and setting Y to 0, but it forced me to also set the X value which made things behave funky and was less than optimal. This implementation is way better and seems to work perfectly. Thanks a lot!

  • I have multiple instances of the same sprite in the layout. How do I pick the one that is vertically highest on the screen (smallest Y value)? I'm sure there must be a super easy way to do this, but I just can't figure it out for the time being..

  • I second this feature request. Disabling all collisions for the sprite isn't an option if you for example have enemies (using platform behavior) you want to disable character collisions with but still want them to not fall through the ground. Or if you have certain solids you want to disable character collisions with but still want the enemies to not fall through.

  • Jayjay I'm also interested to hear more, can you be more specific? What issues were there and were you able to overcome them? Any things that come to mind I should avoid in general to avoid pitfalls later on when compiling/porting? This sounds very worrying in regards to my current project, also I've updated C2 way past r192:(

    I just couldn't imagine trying to use the events system on my cell phone. That would be annoying for me... just saying.

    Yeah, you wouldn't probably make a whole game in it but you could well add/improve some features while in a bus/train/lunch break or whatever. Personally I would find use for it for sure.

  • This would be awesome and I've thought about it too, but as time and resources are limited I'd rather have Scirra work on Construct 3 at this point.

    Who knows, maybe this will be possible one day with the C3?
