Notes

This update focuses on some smaller additions, usability improvements and bug fixes. Firstly by popular demand you can now have multiple local previews - simply hold Alt while clicking preview, or use Alt+4/Alt+5 keyboard shortcuts to preview the project or current layout respectively (note these use 4 and 5, not F4 and F5, because shortcuts like Alt+F4 are the OS-level shortcut to close the app).

There have also been a few other smaller additions and changes, including updates to how the editor works on iOS. Note we've also had some users reporting problems exporting when using Kaspersky Internet Security. We couldn't reproduce any problems in our own testing, but the editor will now warn you if it detects it is present on export.

Finally there's another batch of fixes as we stabilise the new built-in functions and Timeline features, as well as various other fixes as bug reports came up. We'd like to bring the new features to a stable release in the next few weeks so please let us know if you run in to any issues to make sure we can work towards a reliable new release soon.

We just swapped an internal storage library for one we wrote ourselves. It should be 100% backwards compatible though so in theory there will be no noticeable changes at all (other than hopefully some rare bugs fixed).

      • Okay, but what action and condition are in it?

        Local Storage?

        Storage NWJS ?

There were a lot of problems on NWJS, too random, one stroke it works, one stroke it doesn't work, AJAX, it's the same...

        More information please.

  • Absolutely love the new option to specify encoding bitrate. I'm able to reduce the total file size of my projects considerably without having to open/edit my sound files in an external editor.

However, when trying to click on the dropdown for the bitrate, only a thin sliver of the menu is clickable.

    Using the desktop version btw.

The dropdown looks fine here. Please file a bug following all the guidelines if you want us to investigate.

  • Holding alt while clicking preview doesn't seem to work, but the alt+4 or 5 does work.

Alt+Click works for me. Note the editor window has to have focus first otherwise it doesn't get the alt press.
