Notes

There were a couple of regressions in yesterday's r123 release - notably a possible crash trying to switch the runtime property. We're keen to make sure that everyone who wants to switch over to the C3 runtime is able to, so we have a patch release to ensure that's working! There was also an issue with the Tile movement behavior not working in r123 which is also fixed, and a few other fixes that made this release.

In case you missed it, yesterday's r123 release added some major new features, including a new Tween behavior, a new Drawing canvas plugin, a new Advanced random plugin, and the ability to filter collisions with solids. See the r123 release notes for the full details.

  • Please add "Scale" property on tween behavior, it's more easier using "scale" instead of use "width" and "height".

You can use the "Tween (two properties)" action and select "Size".

      • But it's not effective for families with different size of sprites, like game buttons.

So, if i want to add size transition after button clicked, i don't need to configure action for each buttons, just use scale for all of my buttons.

  • Awesome Thank you for the Ultrafast Fix :)

  • Thank you guys for a quick hotfix!

  • thanks!

  • I can't find Tween in the behaviours list am I being thick?

  • I award the Nobel peace prize to Ashley and the team. Construct is the bomb.

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks, everyone. None of this seemed to affect me, but always glad when bugs and issues get sorted.

No rush, but I'm just wondering if you have an ETA on when the Tween behavior info will be added to the manual documentation.

  • Awesome to see that it is shaping more and more to be an excellent tool. Not that it was bad before, but now that you can focus more on pumping out new features it feels like it´s moving much faster compared to the transition period to the new runtime, where there were only few obvious/visible changes.

    Keep 'em coming! :)
