this is the work in progress version of the game that I am working on, unfortunately ran out of time to complete it for the class it was assigned for but i like the concept so im gonna finish it anyway. the main concept for the game is to question how we treat enemies in games and in real life. the game follows two soldiers on opposing sides of the same conflict and each level shows the same event from a different perspective namely in the way people are seen and how we demonize those we oppose. in level one things are pretty standard but in level two you play as one of the cannon fodder enemies from the first level and the tone changes to that of a horror game. the atmosphere gets darker as more of your allies are picked off. at the end of the second level
you come across the twisted demonic form of the player character from the first level. and after a brief fight a cutscene will play showing the death of the player to the demon they fought against only for the perspective to switch casting the dead body in the visage of a monster. the screen fades to black as footsteps are heard walking away.
