This is a free Capx for a simple to build mining game so that everyone can participate in the Jam if they want.
Just download the Capx file and open it in Construct2. The assets are on the left of the layout screen so you can build a new level and add assets to your hearts content.
I included a simple demo game example to show how it works:
CONTROLS: Arrow Keys and Space Bar.
Move your miner where you want to dig and press space. Press once for more accurate digging or hold down Space Bar for lots of digging. Press and hold Space Bar while Jumping to dig above your head or below your feet. Timing is everything.
Collect the Gems and Gold as you mine and plan your path wisely to avoid the rocks.
Save your buddy from the mine collapse before he runs out of oxygen.
So grab the Capx and make yourself an underground mining game for the Jam.
