  • Actually I found this is the best fight template in the market. However, I see many things to be improved, such as AI of Enemy and in terms of mechanics, you can add choke mechanics

    • Thanks for the comment ^^

The AI of the game is the first one I've used (the template one is a little better).

As for the choke mechanics, I tried to implement this, but it only worked for the single player (the AI messed it all the time), so I discontinued this.

Again, thank you and I hope you enjoyed the game.

I wish you success in all your projects ^^

  • This looks very interesting, I wonder if its easy to add different fight moves and make the game more exciting, still a very good effort

    • Hi,

      Thanks for the comment.

For new moves I believe you only have to create the images (the game and template have only the 'fireball' special, but you can modify the punch/kick events to create something like 'dragon punch' or other physical moves.

  • the game is fine as it is especially if you get a friend play it with you but my only issue is the fact the block button and fireball button are same buttons as the moving and attacking. i just feel like they need there own buttons

    • Thanks for the support, my friend.

As the game was made with the first version of the template, I used the same method of Street Fighter (pressing directional contrary to opponent to block, and doing down+forward+attack to special attack).

The template I made after the game have the mobile buttons for block and special attack included separately.

  • this came out really great.. Im curious is there a way to reduce the pushback from a punch? in order to continue a combo? maybe cause a push back after a 3rd or 4th punch has landed?

also can you more special move inputs? I know there's only fireball, and the input can probably be changed if needed, but can more be added to a single character?

    keep up the great work.

having just one punch and kick is great btw it keeps things clean and simple... ever considered adding a (hold down) option to allow for stronger attacks?

    • I'm glad you liked my game ^^

I think it is possible to include combos and hold down attacks, but I don't know how to do this at the moment.

Your suggestions are interesting and I'll take note of them to include in the template in the future (when I figure how to do them).

  • OMG this is pretty good

you really created a very solid and clean project

I'm currently working on a physical boss fight and it's quite complicated, so I can't imagine what a fighting game should be like.

    very good.

Perhaps the controls were not the best selection because they are very close to each other.

    • Thanks for the kind words!

I agree the keyboard controls aren't the best selection (I only do this way thinking of 2 players - I could use the numerical keyboard for Player 2, but some notebooks doesn't have this option).

If I can think on a way to map the keyboard keys, I'll upload a new version here.

Again, thank you very much for the kind words!
