Within the humble village of Viollya, lived Ruby Fisher. She was a simple fisherwoman, catching her sources of cash in the vast Paryllian Sea, off the coast of Paryllis. In one sunny day, Ruby spots a glimmer, some sort of miracle amidst the washing waves on the sand; a mermaid. She was washed ashore, a net tied to her tail as she laid helpless. Ruby saved the mermaid, who introduced herself as Pearl, someone who wished dearly to go back home. Ruby offered to help, and Pearl bestowed upon her the power to breathe underwater, with the scary waters now feeling like air as Ruby stepped foot into the Paryllian Sea. The two embarked on a grand adventure through the oceans, going deeper and deeper and discovering beauties, hostilities, and all sorts of mysteries within the deep.
Faraway Blue is a game developed by Ejen and the Gang for a competition. The initial game was developed in 40 days, but he continued to update for an additional 129 days. It's an action-adventure 2D platformer game with small violent graphics and a simplistic, fantastic artstyle to captivate the player. In it lies roughly 25-40 minutes of playtime, but my personal record is 12:09, try to beat it. It features 3 levels each with a boss, and lots of exciting gameplay and visuals drawn in PowerPoint and animated in Construct 3.
