I wanted to have a dialogue box for future games, so I did this and decided to share it. You can tell me if you'd like some improvements or if you'd like more explanation about how to use it. wrote it so you don't have to add many events for your dialogues, you just have to modify the XML file. I made a tutorial so you can see how to do it.

I love this capx, and I've used it heavily. It unfortunately breaks under c3 runtime, and I'm not sure why. The text format goes all funny. Any ideas?

Sorry, I can't really help you I don't have c3 unfortunately. What happens exactly with the text format?

  • I was trying to figure out a good way to do dialogue! 5/5 stars! It's also funny!

  • Good demo!

Maybe I can use this for an RPG or an adventure game I'll make after I've finished Round Rotate...

On C3 runtime, when a dialogue first opens, the character spacing is weird

Really weird indeed, no idea why it would do this (and to be honest it's been a few years I haven't looked at my capx so I'm a bit rusty haha). If I ever have the spare money for c3, I will probably try to redo this and improve it a bit, I'm sure there are some things I could make more simple.

Sorry again for not being helpful, but I'm glad you found what I've done useful :)
