Test Demos for Imagination Funtime Odyssey, to keep track of progress. This game is in heavy development, so it will be a tad longer until proper gameplay can be released. Anything in current demos are subject to change.
Update 4.13.23 - Built a main menu along with a level and character select screen. (Ignore the Oscar head sprite shouting "B" on the left, currently has no function.)
Update 5.30.23 - Enemies that can now attack you. New roll move! improved sky box.
Update 8.01.23 - Scaling adjusted. Camera controls removed, replaced with automatic zoom-ins when entering secret areas. You will now be dealt fall damage a few seconds after falling. Improved sky box. Improved Map Select screen. Player now has a new running animation when reaching Max speed. Slight pixel art changes.
**Added the game's main progression(NOT AT FINAL STAGE): Collect guardian orbs within the level to move on to the next world. Come into contact with them and wait for the orbs to head back to the Mother Odyssey(ship) to count as collected. Attack the Mother Odyssey to return to the map. Completion of collection wont be final until you collect ALL orbs before leaving. Leaving before you collect them all will make you recollect them again upon return of the world.
Update 10.25.23 - Music has been removed to rework how the audio files will trigger. Removed extra sprites, added one currently out of function. Cleaner demo with generic instructions.
Update 12.14.23 - Titled UI elements. Testing Boss transition, doesn't attack at this time. You can dive onto the little ship to exit level and choose an available new level, NOTE that the ones available besides the one you start on are NOT complete. Desert, City, Beach and Garden levels are available. Added reworked music triggers, music composed by ME. Music tracks NOT finalize. Testing as usual lol.
Update 06.05.24 - Added Elizabeth as a playable character. Started building the main menu with digitally drawn graphics by me. Elizabeth shares the same move set as Oscar, but with less deceleration and a higher floatier jump.
- New side character that takes your coins in exchange for upgrading your power. His name is Elliot.
- Updated boss transition with a decent animated cutscene.
**PLEASE NOTE - Elizabeth's animations are NOT complete, and some of her moves won't work as intended due to that.
