Would it be possible for you to post one of those failed save files so we can examine?

  • Speaking of which, this looks like it might be a great problem for a GPU. I imagine you could run a similar algorithm about 1,000,000 times faster with a GPU's parallel processing. R0J0hound, by any chance do you know if it is possible to do Unity-style compute shaders on the GPU with WebGL?

    Maybe this: https://github.com/gpujs/gpu.js

[quote:26vnsto7]gpu.js is a JavaScript Acceleration library for GPGPU (General purpose computing on GPUs) in Javascript. gpu.js will automatically compile simple JavaScript functions into shader language and run them on the GPU. In case a GPU is not available, the functions will still run in regular JavaScript.

    Am I missing something?

I found a BUG section for C2 but not for C3?!?

I have a bug to report ...where can I do that instead?

    Thx

    Is there still a discount?

The discount is still available for licensed C2 users who have not claimed the discount previously.

  • Hi all, I recently started to use Construct 2 Personal. I've installed NW.jsforC2 and want to use it for preview. I've tried going into the Preview section of Preferences and selecting NW.js as well as pointing the Custom Browser option toward it but it doesn't do anything other than open up Chrome localhost:50000.

Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing. I've searched the forums and Google and still gotten nowhere so here I am.

Any help would really be appreciated, as I'd prefer to have this right before I get around to learning how to use the engine for game-making.

Have you got the very latest stable build of C2 installed (found HERE) ?

Have you got the very latest build of NW.js installed (found HERE) ?

You should then only need to change the Preview browser setting, as described by dop2000.

It is generally accepted that you con 'bump' your own thread after 24 hours, if no answer has been forthcoming.

    Thank you.

  • This section is specifically for bugs in the C2 software, whereas this is more like a query.

  • The video shows simple parallax based on mouse. It is very basic. Have you tried?

Make a prototype based on the video and then if you have issues, post .capx here so we can help.

Regarding learning Javascript, Google is probably more appropriate. There are literally thousands of sites teaching Javascript online. Learning Javascript is not particularly difficult - becoming proficient is another matter.

Having said that, the users who frequent this section could offer some more direct guidance.

  • So, how to fix it?

This is a 4 year old "closed" bug report ans as stated in the sticky - you should not be posting in a closed bug report.

Mime types are covered in the manual !

  • Can anyone update or share a timer countdown example please? The files and links are not actives...

There also many examples in the Tutorial section which may be worth checking.

  • Hi,

is there any chance of enabling a camera support automatically? Right now, at least I have tol push one button. I'd like to start my application and webcam-feed starts automatically with it.

Sorry for posting in C3-board too.

    Thanks!

    7ukecreat0r is correct.
