    Please follow the Bug Report Requirements, specifically about posting a .capx using at least the latest Stable release, which is r255.

    Your .capx was made using r244 which was from 19th Apr, 2017 and is far too old. Ashley will not investigate this as it is far too old, and bugs may have already been fixed.

    Also, the size of the .capx is far too big (43MB).

    Why not post a simple .capx showing the problem, as it will save a lot of time and pointless guesswork.

    but the truth is that all the links to the dropbox are broken.

    if they could solve it, since it is of great importance to download the capx to see the help examples .. thank you very much really

    Dropbox changed the policy regarding links a while back which meant all links would need to be changed. This can only be done by the original poster and as many no longer frequent the forum, the links cannot be renewed.

    In such cases as the OP no longer being available, asking if anyone else still has the relevant file can sometimes work.

    This is all that can really be done for these links.

    There are always going to be dead links - it's just a fact of a long-lived, evolving forum.

    Do you realise this thread is 8 years old and for the - now long retired - Construct Classic software? Considering you are asking for the .capx, I doubt it. Please be aware that CC and C2/C3 are not at all compatible.

    If so, then OK - R0J0 is usually more than happy to renew his download links.

  • Every time I open construct 2 to work on my game it tells me to upgrade from the free version and buy a license and when I close it it has a countdown that says the same. I already purchased the Personal license over a year ago but when I go to the downloads section all I can install are a text file with some info about my license and a zip file of new assets that I can export to my construct 2 folder.

    Is there a separate engine that comes with the personal license, or a way to upgrade or otherwise make my free edition acknowledge that I purchased a license and stop reminding me to do so? I have uninstalled construct 2 and reinstalled it both while logged out, and logged in on the store page, as well as installed and exported both the c2lisence.txt file and the asset bundle zip into my construct 2 folder. So far neither of these has changed anything and I have yet to find any other download link or an upgrade button that doesn't try to have me purchase another license.

    Basically, go to store, use redeem code from email, download c2licence.txt and place in C2 install directory.
