  • After a few days thinking, I decided to continue developing my first game which is "Sweet Hunter". I have already post it in Arcade.     Sweet Hunter Introduction

    One day, black evil comes to the world. A little guy found he has a special power on the day evil came.. Evil killed lots of people, but for some reason he could not kill this little guy. From that day, this little guy was called Sweet Hunter. He's finding the way to kill the evil and also looking for who he is.

    What is the current stage?

    We have already finished training level with some basic graphics which tells you how to play that game. The mechanism of this game is fantastic, but there is still lots of further improvements. Right now, Sweet Hunter could jump, move left and right, become bigger, crash the floor, then we will add melee attack in the future.

    What?s next?

    There will be more levels to be added. At least 4 more levels, more enemies and we will redesign the graphic in training level to make it consistent with the feeling of the game.

    Why we need funding?

    We need fund to purchase the full license of the design tool. Also we probably need to hire someone in charge of graphics. We will buy some royalty music which fits into our game.

    INTRODUCTION

    Please Save Me is created by DUSTEDGE. This game talks about a tiny little greedy man was punished by god. He was sent to a little island which is under risk of sinking.

    GAME MECHANISM

    This game is a physics game which uses Box2D and Construct 2. It uses the most recent technology of html 5. Any platform as long as it has a browser which supports html 5 can play it. But the performance will be optimized on PC since it really needs WebGL to perform better. So it is still necessary to publish specifically on other platforms such as android and ios.

    RELEASE DATE

    "Please Save Me!" has been released on Chrome Web Store. Ios and Android version will be released 1 or 2 month later.

  • It is good to have 30 shells in the screen without degrading the performance much

  • You could use the bullet behavior:

    +PlayerSword collides with Enemy:

    ---Enemy:Bullet:Set speed: 400

    ---Enemy:Bullet:Set angle of motion: angle(player.X,player.Y,self.X,self.Y)

    ---wait 1/4 seconds

    ---Enemy:Bullet:Set speed: 0

    If the enemies move with some other behavior then stop it's motion, disable it, move with the bullet behavior then re-enable the it after the wait.

    You could also use events or Custom movement like yuquanzhou007 suggested, whichever method you prefer.
