  • This is what i got:

    each body part is set to have collide damage when it hits the ground at a certain speed it works fine but im finding myself having to re-do the whole process everytime i add a new item to the level.

    Is there no way to just have it so when the player collides with anything it does damage rather than just "player collide with ground = damage" "player collide with rock = damage" "player collide with plank = damage"

    i would like:

    "player collide with anything 500 overall velocity = damage"

    sorry for rambling but its hard to get your point across with this program lol.

  • Sorry i have been away for a while back to work now though :).

    Thanks :) and leesungwoo its all physics just a standard bmx frame with revolution joints on the wheels and sprocket, then using torque to move the back wheel and forces for rotation.

    mjg7876 i would love to pick your brain that moto rider game is awesome, pm when you can please mate i need some info from you.

    The peddling was so hard because im using only physics lol.

    Im actually a pretty good animator as well got about 6 years experience, but i want a fully physicked game because they just seem better to me.

  • lol thanks guys and i know, the bike does speed off after putting the wheel do after pushing W for to long hehe.

    What im working for:

    Multiple Bikes and other wacky peddle powered vehicles.

    Multiple characters.

    Characters on the bikes can take damage and lose limbs.

    Rating system to compete against friends.

    Lots of levels ranging from grassy hills to underground caves and outer space!.

  • I will do mate :) i was changing the friction of the wheel in the box at the side instead of doing it in the event sheet lol derp.

  • Isn't the "if on ground" option for the platforming behavior? if so i tried this and the bike spazzed out and flew off the screen because the bike is fully physics lol :S.

    And im using things like torque i dunno maybe im coming at it all at the wrong angle maybe i need to start again sigh*.

  • Thanks for the reply :). I have tinkered with allot of ideas like this but i always seem to get problems with them stuff like:

    getting movement in mid air, And movement whilst even upside down with no wheels of the floor :S.

    I don't understand what you mean by the second thing.

  • I've started a project that includes bicycles and i have them down to a T working perfectly to how i want, But one probrem (-_-), The tires don't have enough friction so when i press accelerate the back wheel just spins about and the bike slowly moves.

    And i don't want no fake ass force pushing the bike from behind i want a properly physicked bicycle please. thankyou :).

    P.S: I've already tried messing around with friction and it does nothing :/.

  • i have my player running jumping and falling with physics and everything was going great but i cant figure out how to do a 3 punch combo whilst only pressing one button repeatedly.

    please help :).
