  • i was working on a platform game to learn how to make game using game maker, but game maker cant handle with big images and i'm a illustrator, so i decide to look for other engine that alow bigger arts and less program stuff... and i found a game called iconoclasts, made by a guy that used the CC and i found this comunity, the best thing that happens at 2011

    when i say the screen its missplaced i was talking about this black square that appears on the screen...

  • ta foda abe�a, rodando liso e tudo mais. eskece essa parada de setas, bota WASD + mouse msm, fica mais facil pra trocar de armas e vc nao vai precisar escrever um comando pra travar a tela, as setas mechem as telas que nem o barra de espa�o e isso eh moh chato.

    soh tem q ajeitar o mouse pra ele nao sair da tela pq isso causa uns erros de sele�ao quando o botao esquerdo ta precionado, a nao ser que vc ponha algum evento pra o botao ser desativado quando o mouse sair da tela.

    e a tela ficou fora do lugar, como se tivesse pulado pro lado

    reparei no som do pulo que ocorre quando clica com o botao direito, ficou legal mas quando tu spama e fica apertando direto fica meio eskisito, de resto esse jogo tem tudo pra ficar supimpa. ja tem historia e tals? (acho q vo tomar uma dura pq to falando em portugues)

  • tile based editor can help a lot, especialy with digging games. i'm having a bad nightmare to figure out how to build my project without a tiled based editor and still have the features like, digging at propper place, place object at certain point, grass grow/expand and player building things... with a tiled base we could build the tile propperties better and faster.

    i really like the scirra because my assets are hand draw, but a tile based editor plus drag-n-drop = epic win�, we could make better graphics and still have the features that help to build a tiled game.

    we all know that the scirra construct can build a tiled based game without a tile editor, but its just hard, like swim against the river.

  • i'm using anime studio to make smooth animations for the sprites, you just have to breake the body parts you want to animate and using the bone animation tool

  • its there any issues or problems when your project cap reach like, 700 mb/ 1GB or so?

    i didn't see any large project and i'm making one big project with persistent world and hand draw images. so i'm asking if construct classic can handle large projects without crash?

    my question is: we can make the caracter with this program and still have the separated parts functions. making it clear, the hotpoint/imagepoint of each part will stay the same or the editor will create a full image without the separated parts and turn into a single frame?

    i'm asking this because if we want to make a "equipment change" inside the program this will not interfere the original character or other parts, like, if you allow the player to change the character boots or gloves, the other equipment stay the same till the player change, like some mmorpgs. full customization.

    this is possible?

  • hello guys, i'm new at the scirra forum and already appreciate the attention here, thanks.

    so, my problem its the difficult of making my character arms do a melee attack, because i'v made a arm with separetade parts for him, to hold a gun and follow the mouse pointer, like a horizontal platform shooter. but my game will have melee weapons too and i need a easy way to make a animation for the short range attacks:

    and i dont known how to make a cool animation without loose this multiple parts arm. i made this for the equipment change feature that i'm going to do for my project but, i dont know if there is a easy way of turn the character into a close range combat. if someone got some idea of what can be made please send me a light.
