  • So what I would do is create an instance variable on both spikebase and spikesshort objects called something like "ID". Then place as many instances of each into the layout. Then set give each pair a matching ID i.e. spikebase and spikesshort with an instance variable called ID equal to 1, another pair you could set to 2, and so on.

Then add another condition to your events to compare that spikebase.ID is equal to spikesshort.ID. This ensures which two instances will interact. You can also use the pick instance event and specify the ID to ensure your actions are being applied to the correct instance.

  • Which example did you use?

If whatever you followed doesn't work you can try cranberrygame's camera plugin -> https://www.scirra.com/forum/plugin-cordova-related-c2-plugins-crosswalk_t109586

  • Story added to header title.

STORY: Set in a post apocalyptic, abandoned military research base, Paradox is teeming with psychotic robots, flesh hungry zombies and littered with brutal traps. Awakening as a forgotten experiment, designed for a mysterious purpose, you have sticky, wiggling tentacles, bat-like wings, pointy horns and a solitary eye. Smashing your way out of your stasis chamber you must begin the task of escaping this labyrinth-like-facility, stealthily pouncing through the shadows avoiding attacks from the monsters that dwell within or go on full on attack and take them out before they take out you. This is no simple maze, the facility is linked by portals bridging space and time. Through the course of your journey you may find your greatest obstacle is yourself! Escape the base, survive its inhabitants and discover your past, as well as the fate of the human race.

Paradox is unique finger flicking gaming experience that will be available initially on iOS, Android, Windows Phone.

  • I have had an amazing response with lots of people joining the alpha tester group. However there is plenty of space and time for people to join as alpha testing wont begin until the end of the month.

    So all ye welcome!

  • Maschka Hey there!

Thanks. Yeah I'll defo consider bundles. At present I'm busy building up a massive mailing list of journos. It's a funny old biz though... you don't know if you're doing something right until you do. I guess nobody wants to give away their secrets.

  • Oh and when I'm done I'm planning on writing a full on everything you need to know tutorial for each platform, and will obviously help out those who need it when the time comes.

  • Hi all,

I have worked in the game industry for about 8 years and about 6 months ago I decided to go indie. So I put my dancing shoes on and started developing my first major independent game. Now this means I am an amalgamation of all development roles, a kind of super developer, but the role I am struggling with most is PR.

So are their any friendly developers / journalists out there that can take me under their wing? Where do journalists linger? Anyone fancy a pint?

Here is an early pre-alpha video of the game I am making if you're interested: Paradox -> http://youtu.be/EfZcmWmxIUs

Other than that, I wish everyone a happy New Year and lots of merriment while the year ticks out!

P.S Feel free to PM me.

  • Burvey Yeah, I do agree and I probably will not got go dark on the UI. I want a strong playful contrast between the UI and the game graphics so it's reminiscent of the typical mobile game style but has surprisingly dark content in game.

I will definitely improve the quality of the grey buttons as I think they have lost quality while I was resizing them up and down in C2. However, that will probably just mean reimporting. I will see when I get to that point.

I do however value each and every persons opinion. It's really nice to get comments and feedback on this thread. I'm five months into development, working from home, while also being a stay-at-home dad, so not seeing many like minded people at the mo.
