  • fair, though i do remember having far more events than allowed at one point in time, however it just didnt allow export. my apologies.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • thats actually pretty smart. id've told you to set a variable for sound played, but then youd have to say 1 = sound1 2 = sound2 3=sound3, where as indexed names you can say "sound"&Random(x,y) and it solves for the whole lot.

  • Sweet! Much Appreciated.

  • attempt

    global variable "Gold" =0

    global variable "Price" = 0

on pressed, set "Price" = comprar.precio (or you can just type the number manually)

    subtract "Price" from "Gold"

  • try to set a text to comprar.precio to ensure its reading back a correct value. also it looks that you dont have any global variables but i see you calling on them, are they perhaps on a different layout or are they just instance variables?

  • i believe my source on that is a comment from either tom or ashley, however i dont have the link handy at the moment, if i find it ill come back and post it for you.

  • > Hello! Can i create full game with 500+ events and all stuff in free version, and after i create a game, subscribe and publish project?

    >

Here is the comparison chart which shows what the limits of the free version are:

As can be seen, the free version is limited to 25 Events for guests and 40 Events for registered users.

Therefore the answer to your question is no - you cannot create a game with 500+ Events unless you subscribe first.

the above is incorrect. you CAN make a game with 500+ events, however, you will not be able to export your project until you have a liscense. so if your question was, "well, what if i make a bunch of awesome games, and THEN get the license, publish all my games, and have a year to publish more!?" , then the answer is yes. even once your license runs out, you can continue to sell games which were published when you HAD the liscense, so if you make 1000 games now, and in a year buy the license, youd have a year to publish the 1000+ games, and you could in theory let your license expire, and continue selling those 1000+ games you exported until the day you die. no royalties. however, after your license expires, you would then again be prohibited from exporting anything with over 50 events etc, and you would lose use of tools like the visual layer editor and in editor previews, which are quite nice.

  • you can download construct 3 editor.construct.net , however it is a beta version. the beta version does not come with many limitations, other than the restriction on selling games and a 50 event limit. theres also a 2 layer limit, but theres things you can do to circumvent it, such as instead of dedicating a layout to your menu screen you can put a scroll to on a box off to the side of your level in a place which is non accessible. overall i think its an incredible software and worth the money.

  • it threw me off for a while too lol. i was trying + and -, page up n pagedwn, etc lol. may be a useful bit of dialogue to add in next to current zoom, just add parenthesis. however, is still beta. as long as the function works idc

  • the sound as a subevent should allow the while down to work proper but may not be needed. just didnt want the trigger once while true to set you back to moving 1 tick.

  • youre simulating down but only while its pressed. if youre trying for a fade away effect, i suggest just using another variable. when enter pressed set variable to 1, if variable 1 simulate control down

Now it moves as intended (for the most part, but I can adjust that), but the sound that plays won't stop playing. I've tried making it so that it would only play once, but then it does the same thing as before.

    Subevent

system - trigger once while true then have action as your sound

  • sorry. it is here https://construct3.ideas.aha.io/

  • Not that I'm aware of.

Interesting feature to propose on github though.

speaking of which, i believe ashley(but couldve been anyone really) posted a link to a construct 3 suggestions/ideas page. the link you just posted was for bug reports, where as the page i remember visiting had like, a "in the works" section, as well as "proposed ideas" as well as accepted and rejected ideas,or need more info etc. i was curious if, as youre a mod, you would happen to have that link? ive submitted to it before but for some reason i seem to have forgotten to bookmark it.

  • so more of a thumbnail preview image instead of changing the loading screen

  • i dont have c2 so i cant check the work as im on linux; but it seems rojo has it down. these capx files arent 404d btw
