Thank you so much :) This worked perfectly!
Yes you can, but something else must happen. For example you can have the spaceship going UP if you press UP+RIGHT key. Or you can simply make it stop moving.
I can add an example if you'd like.
There is no reason not to just use different layouts but I get the feeling. You can disable groups of events to do this.
When something happens -> Group "EXAMPLE" set activated or something like that.
Capx always helps.
Nice animations by the way :) Also the link is kind of broken. You missed out the ":" after "http". I found that the "jumpFromRun" animation is kind of useless. The animations looks really, really good anyways. Did you create them yourself? They're awesome.
Shoot over the hole? You mean like a bullet or...?
Oh my god! Thank you so much! <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
The bullets generally flies through anyways? https://dl.dropbox.com/u/21151675/examples/exampleSolids.capx
If something else wierd is going on you can use the "set collisions enabled/disabled" action upon collision with the wall.
Example
Split the water up so you get two different sprites, one transparent and one isn't.
Also, you can add an event so the water duplicates itself untill it's not transparent anymore upon collision with another object (?)
I'm not to good at these advanced stuff but why don't you PM them? :)
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Not sure if it helps but I think you can have:
Condition A
AND
Condition C
OR
CONDITION B
CONDITION C
by adding a sub-event.
Helping you would be a lot easier if you would send the Capx or a link to play the game so we know what jumping is like. We can also check out the characters animations, maybe you spelled "jumpFromIdle" or "jumpFromRun" wrong. I don't see anything wrong at the spot so unfortunatly I can't help you.
When you set the audio to start you need to add a tag. You use this tag "on ended" for Construct 2 to know what audio to know what ended.
Well, I guess you would have to use a lot of variables if the cards are supposed to be different.
You can code your own behaviors with SDK.
You can probably have a button that links to a page. I think AppStore have that function. This isn't really about Construct it's more about the mobile itself.
