  You could hide the layer "on key pressed" / "on touch start" instead of "on key released" / "on touch end" etc.

  This guy had the disappearing objects and negative object count problem as well: http://www.scirra.com/forum/helo-im-a-train-wreck_topic76244_post456666.html?KW=debugger#456666 I wasn't able to recreate it in a new capx but it seems to be related to spawning particles in 'on destroyed'.

  'On destroyed' gets called for each object when the layout changes or restarts. You don't want to be spawning new objects when the layout is changing so you could use a variable like this:

  Oh the mainMenuButton starts visible...

  Add a condition "mainMenuButton: Is visible" to event 282. And set the mainMenuButton on level 10 layout to start invisible.

  Yeah looks like you have to do it with javascript but you can do it inside C2.

  You can give the textbox an ID in properties and you can run javascript with the browser object.

  You need to add a condition to not count touches on the main menu button when it's invisible. Otherwise when you touch the level 10 button it switches to level 10 and you're now touching the main menu button which brings you back to the start immediately.

  Also if you tidy up your events and use families more you could cut the number of events in half (at least).

  It only shows the download size when it goes above a certain amount (100kb I think). Add a large image to your project and you should see it.

  This looks great. If you could load custom images it would be perfect. Aurel's idea of having some preset shapes is a good idea.

  'On touched' and 'Cursor is over' are working fine here. 'Is touching' is affecting all sprites. Seems to be different to what both of you are saying...

  I think the file got corrupted when I deleted stuff. I copy/pasted everything into a new project and added comments. Try it now.

  Basically I made the box immovable and then rotate it manually when the player hits it - instead of letting the physics engine do it.
