  • Thanks everyone for all of your advices.

    After removing all effetcs the game runs much better, I'll use sprites for the coloring matter.

    Is a Samsung Galaxy Neo III more reliable for testing on smartphones? I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S eventually...

    The Note 4 and up are excellent for testing since most phones follow thier specs. If you followed all my tips, your game will run fine on most android devices I am sure of it 100%.

    It doesn't work like that. Construct 2 relies on NW.js to have your game working on PC. Try exporting as HTML5 and testing if it works in Firefox or Chrome. If it does, then the problem is NW.js.

    NW.js is not made by Scirra but everytime something breaks on it, they take it to the developers of NW.js. Still it is faster if you just go to https://github.com/nwjs/nw.js/issues and create a new issue there so the bug is looked at by people who actually work in NW.js.

    But Ashley said it was the screen recorders that was the problem. The screen recorders are not the problem. I just notice lately everytime something doesn't work or breaks, its not Construct 2 problem. Whether its this, Steam or Kongagrate its always someone elses fault.

  • Well the name of the game will be based on gametype. Are you going to have a storyline game with levels ? Other characters that you meet? Or is it going to be arcade based just going through levels and it get harder and harder. So figure out the game type 1st then finding a name that fits will be way easier.

  • Cool. Might have to study your Capx for know how. I'd too like to make a Metroid type game after Sugar High Shakedown is completed. Good luck.

    Yeah a Metroid type game is challenging to make but very fun to play and design. I play this game way more than my other games.

  • Well thanks a lot, I didn't expect any comment so that is a surprise. Working on some pickup animations, still haven't make up my mind yet.

    Does this one look good? Or is it too much? Maybe just for a special item and not for simple coins?

    No that is excellent!! The key to making games addictive is to make sure every element is thought of. You did just that so far.

    He doesn't have googleplay account. I need to see screen shot of your game because if its too close to looking like mario then no one will upload it (copyright infringing) gets your account banned.

  • Planet Exis is a Metroid inspired game where you play as special elite warrior sena . Sena has been sent down to Planet Exis in order to find out about the disapperance of HammerCrew. You go through several caves finding weapon and suit upgrades. Also a various cut scenes tell the story and you have Epic boss fights as well.

  • I am pretty sure Switch will be compatible with Construct 2 . Construct 2 isn't a widely known game engine so that's why we are not on the opening list.
