    I tried clickteam before Construct 2 and the main issue with it was lack of proper porting. The autoscale feature doesn't work nearly as good as Construct 2 and you face glitches at random. If you think Construct 2 needs optimization for mobile , then Multimedia fusion would cause you a serious headache.

    Also tutorial wise Construct 2 is way better its not even close. The only thing Multimedia fusion has going for it is the 5 nights at freddy's game which came just it time. Before that game blew up multimedia fusion forums activity was slowing down.

    XDK is the best option but it has a lot of small steps before making the apk. 1) Export your file using xdk export so its already in the right format. 2) Go slowly and make your signing certificate 3) Next sometimes XDK requires you have to upload images I forget the sizes but you only have to do one of each 4) Go to the build tab to build your project.

  • If you got a great game with simple controls then go for it. Alot of developers do not want to spend money but want to earn millions. Most of the mid size to larger size developers used paid methods to promote thier games. But do research on how to spend properly you need to know things like category targeting and you need to research how many downloads you need to reach top 10 in your category.

  • Ok this should make it clear that construct2 is much better than gamesalad. Go to thier showcase section and download 4 random games for android. Now go ahead and download my game , in my signature. Try out all the games and I bet none of gamesalads games have as much onscreen action going compared to my game. Now realize thats thier best games compare to my regular game.

    Now when they search on facebook and twitter for construct2 it shows its a scam. See how many customers your going to get from now on. Forget working on C3 by that time you will have no more customers.

    Ok I see your playing a game of being stupid. I just told you in the previous messages that its not in the "your downloads" section and the only thing there was an art bundle. Then you post a whole bunch of non-sense that I already answered previously, so either you didn't read what I wrote or your a fucking idiot.

    The email contains a redeem code which is used to "attach" your license to your Scirra account.

    Loosing the email has no effect. You can only use the redeem code once. Once it has been used, the redeem code becomes irrelevant.

    If you bought the license on the website, when connected you should have access to it in the "Your downloads" page.

    If you bought it on Steam then you likely just have to install again C2 for Steam.

    If you have further issue, send an email to and stop jumping to ridiculous conclusions and posting wrong informations you have actually no clues about.

    You have been away for a while, perhaps you should take the time to inform yourself instead of posting as much as you do for nothing and giving away wrong and uninformed advices...

    Making a backup of the license is not a bad idea, but assessing that a lost email ends up to money lost is just wrong.

    Its not in the "your downloads" I just stated the only download in that section was the sprite pack. I brought the C2 on this website. SO the information I posted was correct, there is no way to access my C2 license.

    I brought Construct2 a while back and used it to make android games. I took some time off and had to upgrade and delete stuff off of my computer. Now after a long layoff I decided to come back to making games but can't download the license without the number key that Scirra emails you. I clean my emails regularly and can't find the email Scirra sent to me. So now thats money flushed down the toliet.

    The last option I have is to look into my cloud services to see if I stored a copy of my license there. I usually back stuff up so I probably have it somewhere. Otherwise I just wasted my money since Scirra doesn't make it so your account is linked to your forum user account like its supposed to be.

    If you do buy Construct 2 , upload your C2 license text immediately to dropbox or any other file hosting services so it won't be lost.

    I checked my emails and can't find the one where I purchsed it. So now I have to look if I stored it anywhere else online. The download section only has the art bundle and nothing else. If I can't find the license, then this is a scam.

    The issue was with event sheet Line 2 and 3.

    It seems the local storage code was incorrectly copied from 'PowerKong' local storage tutorial.

    Thanks Gmoney I been away for a while . When I made the tutorial I thought it was easy enough to follow but I will double check to make sure beginners have an easy time following it.

    Let people say what they want about the software and just making games is the best way to go about things.

    I doubt that Scirra's new JavaScript developer's role will be to make showcase of games.

    Your right there are topics I check since I haven't been on in a couple of months. I figured since C2 is in competition with other game making software there should be an updated showcase showing what C2 can do. The excuse of just let people think what they think honestly would sound lazy to anyone. How hard can it be to add more successful games to a showcase??

    Why hasn't Ashley or Tom made a mobile showcase section is weird to me but Iam sure the new members of the dev team will get to this soon. Iam finally back after a layoff and refreshed ready to make more games and Iam tired of people saying Construct2 isn't a serious tool.
