    Initially there were plans to make an sdk for native as a completely separate exporter, but that's gone by the wayside since html5 got so many wrappers.

    So technically it probably wouldn't go against licensing, however, what you are asking to do is much more complicated than you realise.

    Not only would you have to create lookups to everything from the editor, you would also have to do that for every plugin including any third party code you wanted to use.

  • If you eliminate some requirements of physics such as weight, and mass, it's not that hard to create your own version of it.

    The platform behavior for example.

    Start by teaching it, and yourself gravity.

    I might suggest some other types of power ups if you have thought of that already.

    Don't think of it as families in a family. It's merely a family of objects grouped together for z sorting.

    I would suggest just making a family variable that uses the y value, and sorting by that to start.

  • Well it's not like someone's going to get a game up on Steam using the free version.

    There's the 100 event limit, and the $100 fee from Valve.

    Then again it's possible to export to Uap, as well as Phonegap, and even apk using alternative methods as well.

    Im just saying it would behove us not to make a billboard with a tutorial on how to do it.

  • The part about custom builds is a bit iffy, for the same reasons they don't want to promote Electron.

    Anyway you could make an external app to create something like that in C2 with Canvas, or Paster.

    No idea if C3 will provide that much control in editor when it come out.
