    It has never worked with awesomium for me but I know the swirl effect does. I have tested in all versions to date without any success.

    8350 AMD CPU

    12GB RAM

    Gigabyte 990FX MB

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64

  • I have tried to use it on either the object or the layers. It works when I test in Chrome but not when exported with Awesomium. Anyone else have this issue?

    As for sound I might be out sourcing to a Studio with AAA title experience, no word yet but they reached out to me so there is potential:)

    The game is constantly evolving, I have jsut finished adding the flying animations, and the Actual entire set will be given a once over once all the anims are final.

    The game is still in development and updates have been added to Steam and IndieDB/ModDB

    My first project is also available there but it is a COD5 expansion pack. For those that play, it's called NAMWAW...

  • I've gotten a lot of feed back on Steam. Changes have been made accordingly and I wanted to get some feedback towards the new trailer/animations. The spin is gone and a fully animated flip is used to replace it. Let me know what you think:)

  • I like the way the door opens, think thats kool. Would be awesome if he left a shadow as he bounced around considering that there is a bit of prospective to the ground. Good luck and keep it up.

    I am working towards a higher level of consistency in regards to the line art and depth. chain of jump animations is already in. I'm adjusting them now.

    I'm sure you'll be successful, and thanks for your insight. Personally I wanted to make a game that was simple, familiar and fun to introduce the character and expand from there.

    As for the similarity to Mario, I'm not copying mario but there is definitely a bit of an "Ode to"mixed in intentionally. With Mario not being on Steam, why not have an alternative.

  • I tested the changes and there was an improvement but not by much. I reworked the spawning of the other enemy classes and now the Fps starts out at 7-8 and increases to about 16-17 by the end of the layout. I'm still lost as to what the cause is.

    Thanks for the offer. It would be great if you would take a look at it. As you can probably tell I'm not a coder, so please be prepared <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />. Any help you can give me would be very appreciated.     I've tried what you've got above but I must be messing something up. The enemies move but they do not change directions.

    Here is a screen of exactly what I did.

    there are collision events all the way through the layout. they are spread out. the layout is 6144 by 1024. it's layout setup is something like mario bros.

    I have "bad guys" on collision with invisible "edgemarker" sprites to turn back and fourth. these are all the way through the level.
