  • Hey Guys,

    I am building a game where i'd like the user to be able to drag back from the MainCharacter and fire a bullet in the opposite direction, like the angry birds slingshot firing system.

    I can find plenty of examples using physics but none using the Bullet Behaviour.

    Any ideas?

  • Yeah they are up to date and I have changed sampling and fiddled with lots of settings like that to try and determine what's going on.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Not a 100% but seems to happen after a few previews, fixed after closing tab and re previewing.

    Observed result:

    Preview becomes very blurry increasing with each 'Preview'

    Goes from a clear normal preview to

    and eventually will be a barely visible blur.

    Expected result:

    Be clear every time.

  • austin I am having some glitches with the login system through cocoonjs. If I use clay.io login it is sweet, but using the facebook option freezes the game.

    Also if I disconnect the internet on my iPhone and then try my app I even get a text error appear at the top of my app.

    I would really love an option to only have a guest login. It would allow people to simply type in their name upon posting a new highscore which is something people are familiar with in popular games like DoodleJump and Tiny Wings. Means playing with friends is more fun too.

    Then if there is a way where Achievements could be handled without the need for a login maybe using a randomly generated id unique to the device then we could have an achievement system that is found in most apps except achievements could be updated from your website which is brilliant.

  • austin how long until Cocoonjs integration? My app is craving your leaderboard system.

  • Yeah lag is an issue with older devices but cocoonjs has released a new version with speed improvements that I will load up soon.

    And taking your finger off the screen momentarily although seems an easy way to survive, it is often the cause of confusion, as in, if you keep your finger on the screen the cubes can be organised like zombies on Call of Duty.

    I don't want a severe penalty for it but maybe lifting your finger initiates the rainbow circles to begin their fade animation?

  • I have a backup but it I made a lot of optimisation changes that are all lost. The backup opens, the other projects open, it just seems this one has become corrupt or something.

  • Working on a game for a while now and all of a sudden "Unable to open 'C:/...' for unzipping"

    What is going on?

  • I don't think it's the Retina issue as I can turn it off for iPad inside Construct and it still looks good.

    And yes Ashley, if it is fixed it will be the perfect solution.
