• not yet nemo, but it's something I'll look into adding at some point. Plate is already full for 1.0, but it would be very useful. Still though, setting up the video in the foreground and copying poses should work as well

  • Thanks guys.

this thread is from 2009 :) but i'll want some references soon anyway

  • The latest version of box2d doesn't have this limit, and it's not a simple matter of linking the new library to make it work. Someone would have to redo alot of the code. The world scale thing works, but if you don't scale your objects with the world, the physics simulation appears to be moving at a different speed.

  • hey zyblade, thank you very much

the awesome guys at doublefine had a great vid and post about this:

  • hi guys, update in the OP

  • C2 user in the US, interested!

  • Thank you pedro. Me too, on both of those. The C2 plugin of course, for being able to have more detailed animation in a webpage with no plugins. And I've been wanting to make a procedural animation editor for a very long time, and just never had the time I'd needed.

    Thanks again everyone!

  • please post tech support issues to brashmonkey.com/forum. aside from not wanting to spam scirra with spriter specific issues, it gives us a central place to track and respond to bugs.

this is the first virus report I've heard of. there's definitely no monitoring going on, and it doesn't do anything internet related at all.

as far as the resource hog thing. We're aware of it. We're not even halfway through development, there's plenty of time/room for optimization.

Azu, in the beta, you can export frames as sequential pngs, with magic magenta for transparency. the pro version will have true transparency when that releases.

    thanks for your interest guys.

    still climbing fast

  • 100% funded!! woohoo!!!

  • Judging by his website, it looks like when he says highly interactive, he might mean something animated and interesting happening. DavidEllzey, if you mean where things are moving around or the leaderboard has flipping effects, anything like that would be possible in C2. You'll have to wait for someone else to answer about the other stuff like entries, and login, and photoupload. I'm pretty sure it's all possible, just haven't used c2 enough to know if it's simple to do or not.

  • Everyone, update on the original post.

Joannesalfa, (and anyone else testing the beta), please post tech support questions and bug reports for Spriter beta to Brashmonkey.com/forum. I'd like to continue to update the Scirra community and try to recruit your help, but Scirra's forum is not the appropriate venue for Spriter support. Please post your feedback and report bugs there, and thank you for helping us test Spriter Beta.

    Thanks everyone.

  • Please tell us about Spriter Beta

Hello everyone, we're looking for feedback from anyone who's tried Spriter beta(the beta download link is directly under the video at kickstartspriter.com). This is an early beta, so bugs and missing features are normal(please direct all tech support questions and bug reports to Brashmonkey.com/forum). We want feedback on the workflow so far, basic design, and whether it's enjoyable to use. Please share your experience testing Spriter Beta with me at lucidiew@brashmonkey.com. If you like what you've tried so far and would like to help us spread the word, please also include in your email a short statement granting us permission to quote you on our kickstarter page. "I give you permission to quote me" will suffice. If you'd like to add a quick blurb about yourself to appear along with your name under the quote, we'd appreciate it, but it's not required. Industry professionals, we'd appreciate studio-names or game titles, but only include them in the email if you want them to appear with the quote on our kickstarter page.

Big names tweeting about us! Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who's been helping by pledging and/or spreading the word. 64% halfway through day 4 of 30! Word is spreading fast, thanks to everyone who's helped by talking about us, and now some big names have been tweeting about us as well! John Tobias(co-creator of Mortal Kombat), Kyle Pulver(currently working on the highly anticipated SnapShot(http://kpulv.com/), Derek Yu(developer of Spelunky and Aquaria), Mike Kasprzak(runs LudumDare), Ashley and Tom Gullen(heads of Scirra), JunkBoy and Daniel Kaplan(members of mojang(Minecraft)), Branimir Karad?i?(Fat Princess), and many more, not to mention countless awesome scirrans I saw tweeting about us, and hundreds of awesome people I've never even heard of, who were kind enough to spread the word. So thanks again to everyone. Just wanted to share the awesome news with my fellow Scirrans!
